OFF GRID CAMPING CABIN - Complete Build !

- Welcome back to our channel!
We are a 24-year old couple who built this off grid cabin this year! We think that the cabin turned out just amazing and also we must say that we had a lot of help from my father who has been carpenter/woodworker for more than 30 years and he helped us with the most trickiest tasks. We must mention also a few friends that came by to help us!
Our vision is to built a sort of a camp with this kind of off grid cabins for our customers. So the cabin do not contain a bathroom and toilet which will be located in the middle of the property serving for all the cabins! We think that nature is being more and more important nowadays and people wish to spend their holidays living off grid. The final shape of the camp is still sooo far away, but we started this project with all our passion and belief.
Cabin is made completely out of wood. We used the Siberian larch wood for exterior parts, and European spruce and European oak for interior of the cabin. The cabin is made completely by ourselves, because we even made the windows, doors and the furniture in our woodworking shop.

Great cabin--You show what a good marriage is, a true partnership with each person building on the strength of each other. Gotta love a man that wears bib overalls. He means business! My husband was a farmer/carpenter for 48 years and he wore bibs. He loved them for all the little pockets and he never had to worry that his shirt didn't meet his pants. Great work kids! Beautiful cabin!

I invite those who said they "didn't like" the video, to get their hands dirty and do something minimally similar to this wonderful couple's partnership. If it looked like a shoe box, it would still be sensational. A lot of skill, a lot of disposition and a lot of partnership. The result is this simply fantastic little love nest. Thanks, it means a lot to us! Cabin is connected with the bigger log cabin (that my father built 20 years ago) and has solar system. If we don’t get enough electricity from that, we use generator.

I noticed the "European" electric sockets - so...you are not in the USA?....Canada? Too, after spending 6 years in Tunisia, one in Iraq, 2 in Armenia and 3 in Germany. I had to smile at the plug placements up on the wall rather than down toward the floor - like all of the countries I've lived in. Staggering craftsmanship. I'd imagine his father is bursting with pride.

Very nice! Making those windows in your Dad's shop was impressive. Definitely not a DYI project with all those wonderful tools and machines he has. Very fun to watch. I wondered why I didn't see any foam insulation in the roof? Great job!
I have had a similar idea to put small cabins on the 10 acres we have, but so far I just have the one that I built 30 years ago. :)

i was thinking same thing but i think they did some kind insulation on upstairs floor . I'm sure it not that bad it a small cabin probably get pretty hot in there with that small wood stove
