This has to be the most interesting relationship ever. Jared and Matt both have very large audiences, and I'm sure that they overlap quite a bit, but there's some parts where they won't overlap at all like when that guy wants to take a picture with Jared and not Matt hahahah hilarious.

Yeah, you can hear from the singing, especially from the dual-voice overlays, that the singing or even some part of the song as a whole was put over the, probably, crappy audio. :P

I saw Avatar live in San Antonio just after they release Avatar Country. It was fucking awesome. Shoulder pains came and they still exist from all the headbanging that night. Best night of my life

I think the most satisfying thing is watching Corey shredding at the beginning of the solo I find it so interesting to watch how the guys play the songs but have never been able to go to one of their shows, being able to play with them is an amazing opportunity in of itself so congrats Jared, hope you Enjoy yourself these next couple weeks! \m/

Gotta say Kidd you killed it up there I had the same kinda experience back in the day when I was invited to play a song with a local band from.south jersey called Deadly Blessing back in the late 80s early 90s not on the scale you did but still magical at best .... congrats man keep on keeping on...

It's really sad to see bands like Trivium and Machine Head playing these tiny venues.
Eh I don't think so. Even bands like Parkway, who are making songs mostly for arena type shows lately, purposely play tiny venues to get in touch with the scene even more. It's not like it's a step down for them at all.
I disagree, the smaller venues are better. I've seen Trivium at both large scale and small scale venues and the smaller ones were just more fun.
Small venues are actually better to see a band live
If you have been to both a small venue and a big venue to see them, you would not be sad. bands like Trivium know that the best experience for the fans is that a smaller venue is a lot more intense all around and you have more of a connection with the fans.
Or just be loved in Europe and Aussieland where the huge metal festivals are.
Watching them walk through Cleveland to the venue was a really surreal experience because that's where I went for my first (and only) concert ever to see Streetlight (Manifesto).
So cool to see the house of blues get some more love.

Its been raining here in Crooked River NSW Australia for two weeks straight.. you would not believe a bullfrog just started growling to perfect beat as Jared started playing.. I'm hearing "ohh, ohh, ohh, ohh, ohh, ohh" in time, and had to take a double before I realised it was indeed a super appreciative amphibian. Metal frog !!
Why didn't you use the live audio when you guys played?
the mic was probably too close to the set to pick up anything other than the drums clearly, so he just overlaid the studio track on top to make it semi-listenable
You can't hear anything from mics in there, it's way to loud

Judging by how blown out the audio was before the song even started, I’m assuming the audio he recorded for the song was absolutely terrible so he had to throw the studio version on

That was just the video, I was at their show in Norfolk and it was 100% real, as close as the camera was to the stage, the mic probably would’ve been too weak to pick up everything clearly.
im pretty sure he ripped it off the sound column and didn't remix it or anything so it sounded terrible when played back together in this video, it probably sounds better than the camera mic but it doesn't sound anywhere near what a studio version should sound like

Matts vocals suck now anyway... He sings really high and with no power whatsoever. He should let Corey do the screams and he should do the crusade/shogun ish powerful cleans... that way he saves his voice but the vocals dramatically improve!
