alt and arrows keys is to move your head closer or further which is better than zooming

For many of us, this "Asobo" faction has been put in power without having been vetted, and many, persistent, flight sim features, going back 40 years, have changed overnight.
Hi and thank you. Great video and it helped me a lot but have you noticed that once you have taken off, the camera angle does not stay fixed behind the craft? Can that be set somehow? it seems to drift and this causes me to make poor flight adjustments having a knock-on effect. I just got this SIM 2 days ago and I love it so much but I am about to go back to the old SIM lol.

I’m on Xbox but takes 5 min of hitting buttons on the controller to get the in cab camera to get out of the cab where you can turn and adjust it where you want looking from outside but can’t seem to find what button does sometimes it does quickly sometimes it takes awhile to glitch it out of the cab but gives another view

i am hitting ctrl+shift+1 twice to exit the quick view however this isn't working for me. It just remains locked onto fixed view 1 and I cannot exit. any help is appreciated..
also when I am trying to go into drone mode, it just goes back onto the quick view 1 and I cannot exit

How do I free look inside cockpit using a Controller on PC?
Is there any way to assign the pan view to a joystick hat switch (like I used in FSX)? I really don't like the default toggle view functions.
I havent looked at that yet. I think it will be possible.
How do I reset camera view but keep any zoom/head position changes? Everytime I hit the reset camera view button I have to re-adjust the zoom/head position . I can't figure it out!
I don’t want to memorize keystroke sequences to look around. Is there an option to use a joystick instead of the keys? When is high-quality VR be available for MSFS?
Boris, high qualityt VR is out.
Or you can by the Thrustmaster flight pack. In total there are 48 different switch position. Yeah, like I'm ever going to remember more than a few of those.

my arrow keys stopped working in terms of moving my camera in the cockpit after either the first or second update to the game.

I don't know what's going on with this sim, before this update I've been having issues already with not responding during check update but like a couple of weeks back I had no problem running this sim even with mods, it just suddenly started doing it and even after uninstalling it and reinstalled that's the only time I can run it but with just the very basic package installed, no mods and with just freaking 2 planes that I had to install the rest manually but ones I started doing that like only the 1st plane will be installed but the next one during the installation will just stop and not respond again that I had to force close it and now with this update even during the installation will cause it to not respond again! so I can't even install this sim anymore! Restarted my pc, shutdown, updated my gpu with the latest driver, latest win 10, I didn't see any memory issue, internet connection is good, no problem with the cpu as well, using steam version. While my other games continue to run with no problems at all. Un freaking believable! So frustrating! ):-(
Thanks for this rundown of the cameras. Very helpful. Always like your tutorials. Is anyone else able to get "Shift + Arrow" buttons to work in cockpit camera? Mine are set correctly in the Controls section, but they don't seem to work. Also, "CNTRL + Arrow" keys always overshoot the "looking right or left" hold view. I end up looking behind the seats in the A320Neo for example. Just wondering 'cause I'm not seeing much about misbehaving keyboard shortcuts on the forums, but I'm personally having a lot of issues with keyboard shortcuts not working correctly. Again, mate, great videos. Always like 'em.
You mentioned zooming in and out inside of the cockpit, but said nothing about moving(!) forward and backward.

Interesting, but you can do all this with your mouse.
After and update a few months back, the arrow keys stopped working for me.
I think there was a bug with one of the updates where if you had any custom keys assigned then it lost those keys. You need to re-assign them manually
