As a beginner I found this tutorial easy and I was able to make one for myself in two days which is about 4hours and by the way I used the color gray and it came out really cute 🥰

How long did it take u to make?
I've been searching for something inspiring to do with these two random skeins that i bought on a whim. Absolutely beautiful yarn but they only had two left so i bought them. I've had them for about 6 months. Not a whole lot you can do with two skeins and i am not a scarf and hat kinda gal 🙂 This looks like the perfect project. Thank you for posting.
Loved this tutorial! Ive always wanted to make a shrug and this video helped me acheive that :) i did modify the pattern a bit though and once the sleve was elbow length i started adding an extra double chrochet and two chains to make a bell sleeve! Im so happy with it :)
How did you add the double crochet? Did you add a double crochet for every fishnet hole or did you continue to skip over one fishnet hole like in the video?

i made my first shrug with this tutorial, so easy to follow you’re literally an angel. although i would suggest using lighter colored yarn for tutorials, i had a bit of a struggle when it got to a certain point, but otherwise i love love love everything about your video and my shrug was wonderful

Cool pattern but really unhelpful when you get to 12:00 and its barely explained how to start the sleeves/the directions given are extremely vague and hard to understand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah my sleeves got wider as I went on and I'll have to start over because there wasn't much explanation
is there a way to make the sleeves be more bell shaped? like instead of it all being the same width it gets wider at the end
did you place the last stitch of row 2 into the additional chain 2 from the first row, or into the final gap between the double crochet stitches? thank you
I had to watch carefully because it’s not explained well in the video but it looks like the last dc is in the last dc of the last row rather than the last ch2 space if that makes sense?
i have a question i was working on my second sleeve and the second sleeve is getting tighter the more i add to it so it looks wrong

Do you put a fishnet/ double crochet into that first little stitch we make?
Is the number of needed chains = length (measurment in bust.hips etc) x3 for double crochet? Could you please say why is it for treble crochet, single crochet and so on? 🙏🏻 you are smart you really can explain the things that it is understandabke to me

hi i ran out of yarn so my chest size is not equal. i basically have enough to complete a sleeve on one side and the other size is enough for my bust. is there a possibility i can add yarn to finish it or would i have to restart?
you tie the remainder of your yarn with the start of a new ball into a knot then cut off the excess, making it one continuous line, and stitch as normal :)

for the first part, everytime i made a new row it seems to decrease in width. im on my 6th row and when i started out on the 1st and 2nd row it looked fine but now it just looks like a granny square. does anyone know where i went wrong / how i can fix this ? do i need to redo it completely ?
I had the same problem, just make sure you double crochet into the first hole when starting the next round/row!!

I just made this but the back is really loose, it’s sticking up on the sides. What did I do wrong?
I made mine way too large in the bust/chest, and it does this too. When measuring the bust at the beginning of the video only do front half, don't crotchet that initial chain to fit around entire chest.

Im pretty sure she does 2 more slip stitches on the next holes so end up with three going up
I did 80 chains and then added 2 like you did but when I came to the end of my first row there was 1 stitch left I don’t know what I did wrong but it happened twice
So I tried to fix it by only adding one extra chain instead of two so that the left over chain at the end wouldn’t be there but then I somehow ended with 2 left over so I had to go back and do it the original way and it worked. I am so confused

I believe you can just flat iron the sleeves since sometimes when crocheting some parts get wavy and disorganized ^_^
