- What an event that was!!! I'm talking about the 34th Annual B-17 Gathering and Big Bird event in Monaville, Texas, home of Bomber Field. With 136 registered pilots, there was plenty of action in the sky. Here are the highlights of some of those awesome flights!!!

How large would be a scale B52, using eight of the smallest turbines available? Curious about the amazing skills of R/C’ers nowadays. 🙏🏼

Beautifull aircraft !
However very few were trimmed for landing and therefore the short finals were an oscilatting affair of note .
Why use a bumpy grass surface while a prooer smooth runway is right next door ?!
The bumpy grass also leads to unscale takeoffs and very near nose overs on landing !

The grass field is much more forgiving than pavement.
