This is why I don't play online games anymore. My personality can't handle the lack of justice either. I simply get more frustrated than is good for me.
The World of Outlaws dirt game did that to me as well.
I just let them go now. If it’s that important to them, it’s their little lives. Karma prevails although it feels unfair. Take pride in driving as clean and fair as I can. That’s the pleasure now. Their are many others who do drive clean.

@@KieronConno There's nothing wrong with saying you want a clean, fair race. Racing etiquette has gotten pretty bad the last 2 years with online Gran Turismo games. I feel like it's mainly because Forza isn't delivering, and fans of Forza transfer over to Gran Tursimo. Their latest release is absolute garbage, and as soon as the game is released, just two weeks later, quality of driving in online lobbies in Gran Turismo 7 plummet drastically. That's just how it is.
As a constant B rated driver my safety rating goes up and down, because others use push to pass or me as a break, I’ve stopped qualifying so I can keep safety rating in the s. We need the driving standards reporting back
Del - you are so right about driving standards - I’m a B S driver (high B, knocking on being A) and in the lobbies I drive in there is often horrendous dirty driving.. I think so many people have seen Kimi videos and are aware that little pushes and taps which spin or push off others do not get penalties and it sometimes feels it’s now endemic in the game. So PD really need to look at getting their penalty system to recognise this deliberate poor driving. The other thing they need to do is to disable steering counter assist for DR B and above, again many have seen how Kimi uses it to limit his damage from being hit and pushed and now many more leave the assist on. If you are B and above you should not need these assists and they need to be disabled.
I'm in the same boat. And whenever I'm on the cusp of going A, there is what seems like a wall of Brazilians waiting to ruin my DR. There are a few Brazilians with amazing race craft, though. It has to be said.
For sure gamers will push the rules for advantages anyway they can I think better rating race more stricken the rules

I have an S sportsmanship rating and some people just take me out. I could have got third, if not first, but some people think that GT7 in bowling with cars so i finished 5th

I’m in A / S lobbies. For the most part it’s clean but there still seems to be that passive “dirty” driving of just divebombing from deep into corners or forcing it up the inside constantly.
I put dirty in quotations because I’m not sure if it’s intentionally dirty, but more so some players just think it’s hard racing to just take a position by force with lots of rubbing or that not leaving room on corner exit / running the other car wide on purpose is just defensive driving.
I personally would consider that passive dirty driving where it’s not exactly punting people off but still totally disregards the other cars on track
I know for me personally there is a number of drivers who are frequently in my lobbies as they’re the same level as me, and I hate racing them.
One of them if he starts behind you on the grid, is going to divebomb in turn 1 regardless, no matter how much you leave him, he’s just sending it into turn 1 for an early overtake everytime and it’s become so common that you can either let him do it and get on with your race or you can defend it and get punted and lose several positions as a result
Second driver is the guy who just never wants to take the outside even if he has more speed. I understand going around the outside is risky in this game but it’s the fact that you could defend the inside corner to the track limits, and he will literally just go off track and force his way past you on the inside, costing both of you time
Third guy in my lobbies is a guy who just defends and fights for his place from lap 1. Which isn’t necessarily dirty as he’s entitled to do so, but it makes no sense to me to be extremely defensive from lap 1 in races like Bathurst 12 laps, Suzuka 20 laps etc.. like there is so much racing ahead yet he’s eliminating any chance of winning or getting ahead because he wants to defend his position for his life. I wouldn’t mind that, but if you get past him, he will do his best to get back in front of you, even if you let him through to save time and start defending hard again..

Like I said it’s just the passive dirty driving that annoys me. I would nearly respect full on dirty driving more because Atleast they know what they’re doing is dirty, but this stuff of just sending divebombs from deep, excessive defending and forcing overtakes by any means without regard for time for themselves or anyone behind them is the most common “bad” driving I see now. Somehow they think it’s good hard racing though..
Edit: Also Sardengna in nations cup was a disaster. 18 laps but lots of drivers keen to win the race by the end of lap 1. Lobby dropped from 16 to 11 drivers after lap 1 because I assume lots of people didn’t realise heavy damage was on, and carried on the usual push / pass nonsense until they realised the damage wasn’t going away and they just abort the race then. That’s great, they’re out of the lobby now but now I’m having steer left down a straight until I can pit stop and my race is as good as over..
I feel your pain. Happens to me all the time and I get a penalty for out of bounds.
Del, I agree entirely. I'm a B/C driver, and it is filthy in lower levels. I decided to take a long break from dailies for the reasons you have outlined, but with the new BoP, I was going to give it a go again.
I put in a fair bit of effort to set a decent quali time for Race C, fast enough to snare me pole in all four races I dallied in.
All four started with me being punted on the first lap. The final race I was pole, but was punted down to P11 at Graham Hill corner, by BOTH P2 and P3. From P11 I recovered to P3, and even let a fellow thru to P2 when he was obviously quicker.

solution is probably to ghost cars on corners 1st lap. 1st is always the biggest problem. generally speaking though it's pretty much impossible to eliminate dirty driving - you simply need lobbies with the right people.
I 'grafted my way to a B level but dirty driving has meant that I haven't raced online in months.

I was doing the nations cup race yesterday in C class lobbies and I lost count of how many times I got punted, and how many drivers use the push to pass tactic.
Same here. It's turning me off from enjoying the game. Zero skills, and just driving into the side of other people's cars, they get no penalty for these side ramming, yet we end up losing bucketloads of time plus usually a barrier hit penalty too

I'm currently D-S rating...used to be B+-S but life has got in the way I'm afraid and due to not playing for a few weeks I've been severely relegated to the D block...I was always a B+ gt sport driver but the new gt7 ratings are doing my nut in as I'm being relegated to the "Dunce"/crashy crashy D rating for purely not participating every week!!! The race A no DR rating rule is really poor form from polyphony in my opinion! Stressful times 🙅♂️😔

Dive and Drive seems to be the norm now in A/A+ lobbies. Did three C races on Monday evening, got punted three times and have not been back on this week.
I don't really race the dailies anymore for this reason! Sick of the lunges, deliberate contact and desperate moves! Love gr4s round brands but still haven't been on. It's a shame coz I love the game and community just not the racing
Oh man, I do feel for you. Getting settled back in is really hard and the whole thing of feeling like a punching bag is so familiar. It suck’s so bad, but on average, it’s fun most of the time. This is why we all have alt accounts right? 😂
Can't recall having someone let me through in B or C lobbies (might just be old-man's memory syndrome). TBF more of the punts will be genuine skill issues at my level, but, still - a bit of courtesy never hurts. Guess P5 is the most important thing in some peoples' lives. 🤷♂😮💨. @@supercededmanthere is no reason why you can’t increase your see and sr. Don’t do short races. Do the longer races so you can build up your dr and sr. It takes 10 ore more laps to make it worthy.
There needs to be a long lap penalty added with a pit drive through. Don't see why they can't introduce it, seems simple enough to add.

That's no different to real life on the roads. Nobody gives a flying toss these days and it is reflected in this and real life daily. You just have to take it on the chin and carry on or the morons win.

I feel your pain Deadeye. I've been punted all over Trial Mountain this week to the extent I've also bounced between BS to CA and back again. I'm sure I've had cleaner races in Wreckfest..!!! I believe the algorithm needs to be changed to give any damage /penalties to whomever is the perpetrator of any incidents. And. maybe hold the perpetrators car behind you on track until you are fully back up to speed. Your thoughts? Please...

Most are easy to pass but the leader will always fight you hard. Amazing stuff.

Sportsmanship level of S doesn’t actually appear to mean anything. I’m consistently in B/S lobbies and get battered during most races.
I do not race online because there is zero driving etiquette.
I race about 4% online because there is about 7-1/2% driving etiquette.....of course that's just a guess.
I only race online because it has the thrill of a real race despite all the mistakes people make, including me sometimes.
So interesting this. I’ve been driving sport mode for a year. I found the top end of C/Lower end of B to be horrific no matter the SR rating! I was mostly A at the time.
Now I’m upper end of B lobbies with S SR rating, and I can honestly say that it’s a breath of fresh air from most of my experience over the last year!
Hoping A lobbies (if I make it there) stay the same!
I’ve always seen bad drivers on YT, but there seems to be less acceptance of mistakes, ie they’d punt someone off and not wait for them, when in the past I’ve seen many drivers wait.
Hi Dead Eye. I wondered what happened in this race. That would have angered me too. Once someone sends it like that it’s hard to settle down and re-focus, which is what leads to the other mistakes.
I don’t think Dizal did that deliberately but he should have waited up. It disgusts me that people are willing take advantage of their own mistake.
I absolutely agree with you, the driving standards have grossly deteriorated since GTSport. PD needs to update, or overhaul completely, the penalty system and the DR/SR point system.
I'm in the DR A, trying to stay and increase from mid-A level, but I get taken out by dirty drivers way too much for them to not get penalized, because it's usually the same people who drive that way.
The point system needs to change. I'm insanely frustrated when it takes three weeks to build my DR up to the half way point in the bar, I only have so much time, just to have all of it taken away in one race from a dirty driver. And that's probably exactly why PD won't show us any real numbers but give us a bar to look at.
It is so bad these days, that I try to make sure anyone who races clean with me, gets thanks for clean racing, even if I loose a position. I've said it many times before, I would rather loose positions to clean drivers than win by being a dirty driver.
I was taken out of Nations cup last race. He quit and I finished near last. What a waste of time. Funny how you get banned from next race if you quit but don't get banned if you take someone out.
I go up and down between A and B level (I'm using a controller) and yeah it can be awful sometimes, A rated lobbies are no better 🙄
Agree, i am sick of racing fair and being punted off the track on straights, the car punts me, I go off, lose a spot, get a time penalty and the other racer goes off into the sunset.
Del. I watched your vid this morning. Sat down for a quick daily C this afternoon lead from lap1 til lap 11. Then got harpooned on the last corner of the last lap. Full on across the grass T bone. Into the gravel! He got +5 seconds I finished P2 .7 seconds behind. Brilliant!!!🤯
When i first started to play this game (is more then a game ..) i was getring very frustrated when this happend and just lose it , but as i progress from D to C DR , i noticed there was no improvement in the behavior of the drivers around me .I remember what Bruce Lee said one time " be like water my friend " ... that quote made menrealise i need to keep my "water" calm with no ripples, was quite hard in the beginning , but we do more dmg to ourselves if we give in to anger . So .. keep your water calm , no ripples. 👍🏻👍🏻

Im a B/S driver and yes the driving standards have declined massively of late. Me im a fan of Heavy Damage which is a good deterrent to drive bad. Esp as the penalty system seams to punish the victim more so than the villian
I love doing the weekly challenges, it has been a fresh air. I am so over the daily races as you work your but off to go up the ranks and due to crappy drivers you get punted all the way back down. Over 4 days i went from being a low D to high B, and then in just a couple os races due to being punted, forced off or just being armed i went back down to a low C. Just over it! The problem is nothing is going to change!

Hi del,I stopped daily races 6 months ago I also was A A+ was sick of getting beaten up every race, just recently made a new account and started from scratch and to my surprise I have had some of the cleanest races I have had for a long time, ghosting into the braking zone could have something to do with it I don't know, enjoyment restored how long for ??? Agreed, but I think clean driving is also a skill issue at the lower lobbies. In the A / A+ lobbies it’s very clearly intentional dirty driving because you do not get into these DR Ranks without proving you are fast, consistent and avoiding errors
I also find my alternate account is also mostly clean racing, and it’s simply because my mentality is that I’m much faster than some of these drivers in B lobbies that if they want to drive dirty / reckless I can just wait for my moment to overtake them and be out of sight before it becomes an issue. Difference is when you get to the A / A+ lobbies.. the drivers are dirty but also at your skill level.. so you can’t afford to wait for an opportunity or wait for a mistake and if you do get by them, they’re also fast enough to keep up with you so it continues

I'm mainly alternating between C and D rating at the moment with a very slight tendency towards C. Some days i get a good lobby, some days they are the stuff of nightmares..... but i don't have the feeling it is getting worse..... it alternates rather..... because i have been playing racing games online for a few years now i can guarantee it was like that back in the day already as well.
If you want to avoid this, you have to open a private lobby and drive with your mates. Otherwise you will always get thrown into a lobby with at least one bad egg from time to time......
Learn to spot and avoid them, then it might improve.
Though i do understand and share your frustration over these incidents, but getting down to their level won't make your race experience better. You only become ever more livid and aggressive. And that has never gotten you a race win, right?
It's a good feeling when you get a decent finish and know that you drove a clean and fair race
All online racing should have full damage and this would stop all this bs of shitty drivers ramming you right off. I remember a few months ago heavy damage was on in a daily race and it was great cos no shitty ramming was done. Like u I am fed to the teeth with this type of driving. It drives me beyond a physio pathic rage. PD needs to have full damage with the slightest of contacts it's the only way to fix this.
I agree. The safety video discusses no contact. Penalities are not the answer, if you hit someone, like in real life, that is a car accident. End of the race. There are now no real consequences for making contact with other drivers.
i’ve resorted to not qualifying and trying to fight from the back. It helps to get a decent race for a few laps, especially as you can pit on lap 1. However in my last race i still got wrecked on the 2nd to last corner on lap 1 with a send 😢
I've got a good SR and low DR as a recent starter. Had a few races at Brands where I'd be top 3 coming into the final section and would get a nice punt on the final left or the last right onto the straight. Brutal stuff and it never seems to get penalised. Had a few races where I was clean taken out, the same driver took out another few ahead then they end up with an SR increase. No idea.
The penalty in GT7 is better than GTS jn that you do get penalties, but it seems only for punting someone in the rear and making them go off track. Pushing someone off in a corner, say, when you’re side by side (the divebomb) isn’t penalized w/is odd.
Iv went from an A S to a C C because of the poor standard of racing I'm getting rammed and nudged off the track constantly and it's me that's being penalised for other people's poor standard of driving, people forget that this is a racing game and not destruction Derby and it's making me stay away from GT7 more and more

I really have to pick and choose which races i compete in now, some tracks definitely attract more dirty driving. I didn't participate in last weeks daily races at all!
I race in C and when I play with a pint or two, often drop back to D. I must say, D has more accidents due to learning/poor skill. C has more dive-bombs, brake checking, smash to pass, breaking in accelleration zones, shunting to brake etc. The penalty system more often than not punishes the victim (such as brake checks and first corner car park choas). I really think the penalty system is broken. That Russian driver that bumped you off the track deserves a 5 second penalty for that kind of manouevre but I don't think I have ever seen a penalty for side-ramming.
It puts me off playing and makes me nervous when I do, I’m a B rated driver, try to be clean but get used to slow down in corners, bumped off just like in this video, targeted if you pass someone or are faster so when on the straights they just turn into you when you try to pass. Certain times of day are worse for sure. Not great but I still want to try and improve. Knowing this is going on in the A and A+ lobby’s does put me off carrying on🤷🏽♂️

I understand that the you tube part is important but I don't think it's healthy to dwell on these types of players. You are such a good driver that it seems the mental part is your barrier to the next level.

Every race I've been in this week I've been hit off the track. Very frustrating and thinking high safety ratings don't mean anything anymore.
Ego’s mate. I’m an A rated driver and i genuinely think people just can’t be patient or accept waiting the correct time to pass. As you stated we all make mistakes theres correct ways to try to pass. Its a game with no consequences so idiots try these manoeuvres. Its we try so hard to race with the same people. Obviously daily races are a bit more of a lottery. Good content and better luck for the future.
I’m DR B and desperately trying to cling on to that. Was my hope to get to A but every race I get battered, rammed and pushed to the back all the time and my DR is taking a nosedive.

That was a shocker. That Russian punting was like he had been playing wreckfest and quickly popped on to GT7. Loved the 2 karmas 😂. I find its pretty random the punting. It seems worse on the cusp of B into A DR ranking. B was fine but A was carnage a few months ago. Quite recently i finally got A+ DR and i feel thatvwas mainly because i found myself in the same group of racers all evening andvthey were super clean so my confidence just soared. No worry about being a target. PD need to make the penalty system harsh for contact like it was in Gtsport for a while.
I'm currently B rated, S safety. There is rarely any race where I'm not intentionally pushed off track, not given out the space when going into a corner side by side etc. Not exclusively but mainly by Spanish and French pepegas. I started playing last December and tbh C rated lobbies were much cleaner in retrospective.
I was driving on B rating but the last couple of months I have been consistently and deliberately smashed off the track in every race and they are not small taps people are literally not racing just smashing, it's caused me to drop all the way down to e rating in Dr and sr and has been extremely difficult to get the rating back up as it gets dirtier and dirtier the lower you go, so I've currently got back to a c and it fluctuates to d with all the demolition derby racers
I have the opposite in Oceania servers .go up to C/B drivers and SR and etiquette goes down hill and it's harder to find good clean races .but if I let myself drop to D and maybe not try qualifying my absolute best so I can better it if I need to I can sometimes find some not so bad racing . When that fails I just play something else instead
Interesting part of your video is lap 5, couple days ago another streamer put a video up similar scenario but he was outside . The whole community called inside driver dirty for forcing outside driver into the gravel . I defended the inside driver as he was on and taking racing line . The community attacked me for disagreeing with the well known streamer.🤣
Am forever stuck in D, will get into C, but then the game decided to make me go back down to D as it keeps on matching me with dirty drivers as I slowly climb up in the C rank. Tend to be more a midfield driver in the game. Just really frustrating that last time I dropped back down was cause of one race where I got repeatedly rammed of the track into last place, wiping out my C rank. Always had an S safety rating and try to keep out of trouble.
They need to sort out the penalty system cause the dirty drivers know it will hardly ever punish them, maybe bring in like the system they have on Forza Motorsport were the moment you hit someone or go off track it brings up the "off track"/"collision" analyser before it decides whether no penalty, a warning, or then give a penalty. Also instead of having the penalty be slowdown, make it so you have to pit in to serve it, make it, or bring back the penalty is added at the end.
The answer is pretty simple: PD doesn't care about clean racing and have given up on fixing the penalty system.
That's why I skip most weeks of Dailies. By now it's pretty obvious which track-group-combinationes are going to produce destruction derby kind of races.

I disagree, I don’t think PD don’t care about dirty driving.
I just think it’s impossible to code / implement a penalty system that is capable of arbitrarily determine who is driving dirty and who has made a mistake. The penalty system will always appear too lenient or too strict and whichever way that it is will always annoy people
Let’s take trial mountain for example as a harsh penalty system, you touch the wall by accident and it will give you a 1.5 penalty, this is because it’s possible to wall ride and gain time in this track so to avoid that they have put in a penalty system that will prevent people doing that at the cost of drivers who barely scrape into the wall and also pick up a penalty. Now you could say they should just penalise drivers who gain time from touching the wall, and again, logically speaking that is an extremely complicated bit of coding for a race that will be on for one week
Anything short of having a human stewarding the game will always result in a flawed penalty system, because there is no amount of coding that can contextualise each moment of driving and penalise accordingly in real time.
A better system would be to just create higher stakes for safety rating. At the moment it’s way to easy to maintain or attain an S SR. Make a system that rewards the cleanest drivers such as credits in S rated lobby and less credits per race each tier down and make it a good credit haul, not this current stuff of 10000c for a 12 lap race
Because as it stands, there is no reward / incentive to drive clean. There is only a punishment for not driving clean, and the issue with that is, when you become a victim of dirty driving, there is absolutely no reward for not retaliating. You have already been punished by having your race ruined, there is absolutely nothing stopping me from going to punt that driver back off when I see him next as we’ll both still remain in the same S / A SR lobby for too many races
It isn’t impossible. Just need to give people 10*seconds. For making contact with the other guy.

It is terrible, I rarely race online because of it. I have been smashed down from A DR so many times that I can no longer be bothered. However, I am not angry with the drivers that ruined those races. A lot of children race the game, it's not exclusively adult, I was a moron as a child. If they are adults, then fair enough, I am not a part of their life and don't know what they are going through, it could be awful.
I completely understand where you are coming from, but it's a game, and people want different things from it. Not everybody is aiming to traverse the universe and find new lives. 👽
I believe most people just plug in as one of many games that they play, regardless of their rating within the game. Unlike myself, and I suspect you also, where this game is the only one that gets used. The big takeaway is that if you go online, then you should expect at least one driver to behave appallingly.

I try really hard to drive clean, but for the life of me I can't get much past C. I'll get into B and then it feels like I get dropped into brutal B lobbies and then after a couple of awful races back into C. PD needs to figure out a way to punish dirty drivers more severely.
I stopped playing gt7 about a month ago. I try so hard to be a clean driver when it appears the game rewards aggressive dirty gameplay. gt sport was a better racing game.
What's driving me away from the game is the fundamental physics of the game. Aggressive downshifts and putting it in first gear to get the car to turn in. Simply unrealistic
This is just online racing.
I am a C driver and usually I am on poll or at the front at the start of the race. This is the answer to bad drivers as you get away [hopefully] from the bunch and then have a good race with the leaders.
Failing that come in and pit early on in the race and it gives you a chance of a clear track for a few laps.
After 2 years of GT7,the situation of this game is:a lot of drivers in online mode but the majority,also in high levels (A/A+),not are able to use the brakes and to do a clean overtake.All are good to accellerate,only this (and this is very sad)
GT7 is not a real driving simulator,of course,but for sure is not a wreckfest or Mario kart game.
I am B sr S driver and I often get put in lobbies with A sr C drivers. GT7 should put dirty drivers to different lobbies. Also some kind of report functionality which leads to bans should be good

I was excited about this week. I'm an A S driver, and brands is a strong track for me so I thought this was a week to gain some rating. I gave up by Wednesday. People seem to not understand that brands is a track where you have to be patient. I just got punted over and over again.
Yeah there are a LOT of players out there just now who seem to think they need to get past immediately rather than wait for a legitimate opportunity 👎
I don’t do the weeklies anymore. I only got to A and left it at that. Every race I was getting battered and just got sick of it. I only do lobbies now.
I also wonder with us being 2 years into gt7 that there are a lot more people getting that A & A+ rating without their sportsmanship necessarily improving. I really believe safety rating should be as hard to achieve and maintain as the DR, then there might actually be a way to see who to steer clear or be wary of.

I only do online Time Trials at least you don't get punted of the track doing them. The last time I set foot in the Daily Races was back in 2018 playing GT Sport, and it was bad back then.
Absolutely. I have dropped from A to C in the last 3 weeks due to being punted by angry people because they got overtaken.
Then, it becomes a negative feedback loop because the lower the ranking, the lower the quality of driving, plus I am starting on pol by 4 seconds, and getting punted on turn 2 by people that are 4 seconds slower per lap. I go start overtaking after recovery, and those people get the shits and punt you.
Last few days have been in BS rated races and have been up and down. Short races are chaotic but if in top 5 places the standard has been really good - no ramming, dive bombing etc. I've also been in mixed races (A+/A and B) where I ave been further down the filed and these have been less good. More dive bombing to get positions. Need longer races in daily race B so that people don't have to win every corner.
I'm at DR B and Daily Race B at Trial Mountain, I've dealt with my share of seeing a bit of bad drivers. A couple in which I uploaded.
I was in a battle for P1 on Chewsday, i was P2, Ladyracer was P1. All i'll say is: if you come across her, don't expect any space. It was the one and only race i did, it's a sham.
When people are constantly initiating contact don’t they get their dr dropped? Is there no penalty? I’m new to gt7 and want to get into sport but trying to learn about it first.
Not when they hit you on the side, or rear quarter, and just send you off track.
It's a joke of a penalty system..you can't excuse it for a mistake. If Gran Turismo doesn't fix this they will die away, and only idiots will remain.
I coped 6 seconds of penalties from being rammed or run wide into barry R, and to cap it off i got side swiped put into wall,guess last dude had a mind set of not coming last..oh tagged some dude (lets race clean) he's reply was - WHY, YOU SCARED! go figure

Mid c level driver just getting back after a decade off. I know i am off pace, 1.33 average lap on this. I move over when someone has the run on me, half the time they still hit me. I manage to maintain a perfect s rating regardless. This race is very competitive, easy track to remember in slower cars where folks can leverage your quarter pannel to improve lap time and position if they haven't worked to raise their skill level/car control. It can be frustrating but i know if they are banging on me in the corner just let them by, they will spin off without using you as a ghost. But yeah you do lose the pack.
Agreed I've now rage quit my way from B to D every bloody race more dive bombing than ww2
That's why I gave up after GT6,now 'am entering the title to get an platinum and leave it for good,done that on both gt sport and gt7 when I saw ppls driving habbits.
Standards in life are at an all time low makes sense gaming gone the same way. Any immoral action is on the cards. By the way a/a+ lobbies contain way more desperate drivers than b lobbies in my experience
I’m not a fast driver still only rd rating d and sport rating is s . I try stay clean and I will take a wider line if there is a faster car , unless they punt me . Master ob1e
Just went from C to B. In C the races were surprisingly clean toward the front of the pack. In B it’s completely the opposite. It’s been nothing but crash fests front to back.
Very frustrating how many peope are doing this push to pass manoeuvre.
Its not clean racing, but because the game doesnt penalise them they believe its ok to do so

I'm a D and S and as soon as I level up the races are terrible. I'm happy where I am. I could level up with no problem but some of the cleanest drivers are D&S's

But this has been the case ever since GTS. It was like this when I started racing online in 2020. If anything, I’ve seen more clean racing recently in GT7 in B/S lobbies than I recall in the past.
i bounce back an forth between B & C and it just seems to be a case of spot the clean driver amongst the sea of dirty ones its shocking i did the 3rd round of nations cup on my european psn and i quallied 3rd got punted like nothing else on the first couple of laps so i pitted at end of lap 3 and went the last 11 laps on softs and came 2nd man it was a good comeback not sure if YT worthy though but yeh PD need to do something about dirty drivers and especially ones that game the penalty system to give other penaltys for thier bad behaviours
Just started my online racing with gt7, dr is C and sr is C, try my best to me a good sportsman, but some people jus literally smash ya on purpose, lost a few top 3 finishes because of this !!!
I'm a C S some times C A. It's like destruction derby sometimes. Buts just a bit of fun. People ask the developers to do something but what exactly do you want them to do? Ban players? Deduct their credit for bad driving like a fine? Introduce timeouts for bad driving? I'd be p***ed if any of the above happend to me and it wasn't my fault.
I'm B rated and haven't been in a daily race for around a year. Too many idiots removes the fun.

I absolutely agree with this I got myself up to a B A then you get some idiot who decides to ram you off with no penalty but if I did I get one bs is what it is again getting rammed into another driver knocking them off and you end up with a penalty this games online rules is crap all these dirty rammers who don't know how to race should be banned from entering online races the nations cup and manufactures cup race are bad and like you I get so annoyed end up driving angry which makes the race worse
I have completely lost interest in the game, to the point that I will never buy another one. I enjoyed the online races but not anymore and I have been playing the game since it's inception. Part of the problem for me is that I have never been able to get out of C-S but, never been lower than C-S, it lasts a couple of days and I am straight back to D-S and I am completely pissed about it.
One of the problems is that the dirty drivers start in the lower class. In the process, they are ramming decent drivers off the track, causing them to lose dr rating while the dirty drivers move up in DR as they finish higher in the races. The problem is in the point system. Not sure how you would fix it, but the dirty drivers are being rewarded for their behavior
Poor driving standards and server crashes is why I spend more time on iracing these days.
