But, having the visual and walk through and tips from experience is so incredibly helpful❤ I made perfume for my children, their own signature scents, using your vids for guidance along with information I read. I just can't thank you enough for all the help❤❤

    I mixed Jasmine Sambac absolute along with Rose De Mai and Ylang Ylang absolutes.
    Each time I have come back to smell them, they have smelled different and for the better over the last two weeks.
    Saying all that to say how cool it can be for your nose to witness the changes that occur over that time
    Needless to say, I have confirmed my love for Jasmine and Rose in perfume, as I have already known that I like Ylang❤

    Does the perfumer base smells too much like alcohol when you first spray the perfume?

    • @SunshineSoapandCandleCompany
      @SunshineSoapandCandleCompany  Před rokem +5

      This base does not smell like alcohol but it does have a slight smell to it before adding fragrance. Also, right after you blend the fragrance in, is not the best time to judge the perfume. I find that 10 minutes after is a good time to test the fragrance and 24 hours later the perfume has matured and smells even better.

    Hello. Could u pls give me advice? I am planning to start a small perfume business. I mixed 16 percent essentail oil with perfume grade alchohol, DPG, and fixative. I brewed it, putting it in an amber glass and placed in our refrigerator. After weeks of brewing it, it smells herbally and cloudy? I really want it to smell like a real eau de perfume

    • @JustKrista50
      @JustKrista50 Před 2 dny

      I don't know of you already got the answer, you won't get a non "herbal" smell with EOs. They're herbal and earthy. Some people really like that. The number one reason why they're not great in perfume is that the smell dissipates very quickly. They don't last, no matter what you do to them.
      EOs are best in a carrier oil. Use is a roller ball. People who love them understand they smell less like perfume and they don't last long.
      For perfume, you have to use fragrance designed for perfume, fragrance oils or single chemical notes.
