That's what the comment was based off of. But still not really it's own movie. Thomas Wayne batman was there for like the last quarter of the movie and wasn't even focused around him. They could definitely make a movie based on that universe and batman.

Riddler literally talks about “almost getting Bruce Wayne”…he even sings his name to him.
His mum being admitted to Arkham is also a massive plot point falcone says his dad patched him up like the person who came up with this theory didn’t watch the movie I haven’t seen it since it came out and remember all this
At the start of the movie they also explicitly mention Thomas/Martha Wayne being slain 20 years ago on a TV broadcast. No idea how this theory could possibly exist.
I think that comment and the press tour in question was done before the movie was widely released

Did this happen before the movie came out? Cos the movie expressly refers to the death of Thomas and Martha, and Alfred calls Bruce by name several times.
I assume so, it sounds like the person who wrote the theory they were reading was going mostly off of what had been said in interviews and such.

Dano seems so gentle and friendly. I’ve not really seen him outside of his role as The Riddler so it’s an abrupt difference. (Before you say he is an actor, so is the Rock but you watch him in a role and you know what he is like in reality)
He's in a lot of great movies. I loved him in Prisoners and Okja.
He's obviously also great in there will be blood as well.
An underated role of his is as pierre in war and peace. Such a warm, charming and adorable character that he played very well. A must watch!

There is already an alternate Universe where Thomas Wayne became Batman during the Flashpoint timeline. Could be a nice intersection since we already had a Flashpoint movie.
We need a multi verse movie where they meet in a cross over mulitverse and the don't find out who each of them are in the end before the return to their own universe with a super emotional ending where they both have closure knowing that they're both out there and they move on in their own lives....
