That little thing is a double undercut triggergaurd. Glock owners have to send theirs off to have that done usually. That model of p80 has great ergonomics.
@@aseazfusco mine runs just as good as my stick glock. You have to work with it. There all spec parts by different company's. They take some work. Mine is burnt bronze slide with Windows cut in both sides and one on top. Gold TIN barrel and cobalt frame.
Aftermarket 30rder manufacturers don't get that because of lateral spring tension loss in longer mags, the spring needs to be closer toleranced to the width of the magazine. Had ding dong Scherer (Scherer Mags) listened to me at a SAR Show here in Az, he would have the market on Glock mags...Nope, and he is out of the picture now. I do thank him for having the balls to make replacement magazine bodies during 10yr AW ban.

You make dang sure you don't have no moren one bullet in the magazine and you make damn sure you get a reset when you dry fire before you chamber a round! I work at the range and seen folks chamber a round and boom. Make certain your connector and in fact the entire trigger housing is spec! Not Ebay but Glock spec. Know someone that's knowedgable? Don't? Case it, take it to the gun store and have the guy behind the counter check it out. We are all gun people. We dont see color we see people and want to help. Ask if you're uncertain ok? Especially the striker safety! With the slide off, pull back the striker and then release it, then press the striker safety, makes sure a snap sound is heard resetting the safety. I'd a wished you'd a showd us the safety working as this to an experienced glock person is of far greater satisfaction. Ya'll take care. Good lookin out ok?
@@JoeyPhatBeard_Tv Stay away from Rock Slide USA...All sorts of quality issues with slide I got from them. Biggest one, was that the slide rail cut-outs were dimensioned wrong so the slide wouldn't fit a Glock frame or my P80 frame.

U save way more then $100 if u get the ones with custom slides n barrels n hd fiber optics slides wit vents n cuts in em be 300-600 , barrel like threaded to precision (marksman barrel ) 160-200 n fiber optic around 120 u do math if u buy one Glock for around 5 then buy them parts 😭💯

If a p80 is built right and it’s all in spec they can be better than factory glocks… I got a Glock 23 40. And a polymer 80 pf940c 9mm and the polymer 80 is Lowkey a better gun…😬

Using Tula steel case will cause mag feeding issues. Try using brass and see if that helps.

I had to switch out my ejector and extractor to g5 but that p80 lovely
They now come with the gen 4 ejectors. Instead of the gen 3 that give problems
Yeah I got that tip from MarineGunBuilder, switched them and no fte or ftf, my p80 ran better than the Glock I rented at the range.
Had a bad ejector got a OEM trigger housing and ejector it's binary now😂

I had the same thing plus it wasn’t cycling it was definitely a break in issue she runs fine now it took about 100 rounds before she got right…
