Such a great color for the Jetta, amazingly done car. Love the GTI 16v, probably because I have one, but mine is not like this... great to see it so well preserved.

I remember this car from OG vortex days when he first did the blacked out ABA. I had an ABA mk2 jetta at the time, and eventually got a eurospec mk1 jetta I still have. Love to see the refinement over the years and love the pristine example of a MK2 GTI 16V. Much harder to find these days.
Wait, I need to know how the hood release shave works lol. That looks incredible. This is definitely an inspiration for my MK3 (and hopefully not the mk1 I'm buying as a daily lol)
Hands down my fav Jetta and top 3 fav mk1. Huge influence and love. One day my track rat GLi will sit next to Tobi's pristine specimen. Such an incredible car and man. #vwfiends #gengstout
I had a 1984 silver gli jetta fastest car I ever had 220 k 1800 cc 5 speed hot plugs , air input and big exhaust 14 inch honey combe wheels you could just drive the shit out of it and it never failed took out all comers and was a total sleeper wish I still had faster than my mk2 Supra with mods .
Tobias sold out the day he bought a MK4 ;D
This started out as a winter car? Oh no. I'm currently in the process of buying a MK1 Jetta as a winter car.
