Yes I feel like if you put the puzzle in easy mode the game should just go into cinematic mode after a select amount of time if we can't solve it and the game just do the puzzle. I'm at a point I feel like games add these weird puzzles to make the game feel longer
I had the same problem, the movable rotors had a rubber band like effect and I couldn`t move them as I wanted to, most fucking frustrating thing in the game up to now. Loading helped. thanks man.
Ffs just spent 20 minutes fighting with it and you're right. Had to reload at last checkpoint to be able to spin them freely. The lower one was impossible to rotate to the correct position otherwise. Came here thinking there must be some secret trick to unlatching it, but nope it's just buggy.

OMG, I TELL YOU GUYS, I spent almost an hour on this stupid puzzle, the fix for PC Playerse on the glitch is to constantly stop when it clicks and allow it to sync for a second or two. It finally clicked in place!!!!!!!!!!!!!

big tomb raider fan grew up on it but this specific one actually wasnt hard but the creators were just being jerks and made this specific games puzzles easy but tedious.... thats not fun man, we dont spend our money to get stressed out we want to play something fun and challenging/

I swear there's a glitch on this. It wouldn't let me move them while linked together the first time. I reloaded and it worked no problem.
