  • As Keir Starmer says he wants to spend time with his family after 6pm on Fridays, Nick Ferrari speaks to callers to get their take on the Labour leader's remarks.
Starmer has stated that he wants to protect some time that he can then spend with his family, who observe Jewish Shabbat dinner on Fridays.
But a number of Tories have criticised these comments, arguing that it would make Starmer a “part-time prime minister” if he wins the election on Thursday.
Rishi Sunak even told reporters: “I haven’t finished at six ever."
This comes with just two days to go until General Election polling day.
01:06 Nick Ferrari: 'How realistic is this ambition?'
02:23 Caller Tanya defends Keir Starmer's style of working to Nick, saying she 'respects him for it.'
03:13 Caller Matthew: 'I think this was not a well-advised statement but one that was an effort to try and make himself more relatable.'
05:18 'It reeks of entitlement, and that's what we've had with the Tories', says caller Clare.
06:57 Caller Glen tells Nick he feels that Starmer's work ethic has been 'wrongly portrayed'.

We’re still living with destructive Bliar policies which the current Tory government should have scrapped long ago, but they are always obstructed by the Bliar created Westminster functionaries. Done to enable Labour to stay in No.10 forever. Thankfully it didn’t work but his systems still there.

@@kirkclarke7396 There's no such thing as 'fat and healthy', that’s the lie fat people tell themselves so they can continue to stuff their faces.
I come from a family where every last one of us put on weight easily. When younger, we were all very active, played sport, swam and so on. When I got older and that was no longer possible, I simply controlled my food intake whilst upping my walking. Now I am near 70 most of my wight control is food intake, whilst making sure I get the nutrients I need.
It takes effort and willpower both things Mr Ferrari has none of.
I cannot take advice or listen to the opinion of what is basically an unfit lazy man with little or no interest in other people.
My partner is 65 she put on some weight not much but it annoyed her so guess what, she bought herself a Peloton and uses it every day. She, like me, despises laziness and rightly so.
Mr Ferrari is not going to last much longer unless he realises fat and lazy equals short and dead.
