Obviously water against the wall is an issue, but it seems like a lot of buildings entirely neglect sealing from the outside and underside of the foundation, too. The owner relying on only one method of prevention is asking for trouble, as this complex shows.
They need to just get those $4 gutter drain guards that stick into the downspout and that would have stopped it from clogging and allowed them to go a lot longer between gutter cleaning.

Looks like gutters haven't been cleaned out in years ...Also they have debris filters that can be installed on gutter downspouts ..I made a gutter cleaner ..Out of 3/4 " PVC. Using 10' lengths and made a hoop at the top...Heating up the PVC and bending it into small candy cane style hook ..And have a pressure washer fitting on end so you can connect pressure washing hose to it ..and you can clean them from the ground...Those should have been cleaned first...Is that your dad with plaid shirt and suspenders?🤗. I see him on your jobs ...I see he brings his chair 🪑😊

another fantastic video! I just had a local contractor put in PVC schedule 40 underground drainage based on all the videos I've seen from GCFD. thanks to this youtube channel, I now have confidence that our basement will never again see water.
LoL that is a lot of expenses for a clogged gutter, what are people thinking? We should always try to fix the source of a problem, not the symptoms...

Honestly, gutter cleaning should just be a part of your drainage solutions. Unless everybody is afraid of heights.

yep and the tree root systems is wrecking the foundation ,plus filling the gutters ,I try to keep the trees cut back HUGE !
