On the first hand - you call 3 bets with pocket pairs for two reasons 1) button 3-bet range includes a lot of dog shit and 2) when you’re 200bb deep implied odds from hitting sets is increased (you can win more getting it in against overpairs). In the same situation if you were only 100bb deep, you’d fold most of the time.

Love your videos. Liking the occasional GTO charts in this video, really helps me improve my own game and it's something other vloggers don't do. I have a question which might be very elementary but got me busy for a while now. It relates to the 45S hand. You consider checking instead of value betting on the flop and turn with a good, disguised hand, because you're not expected to hit that board a lot. Can you explain to me why it isn't an advantage to bet with a good hand when you're not expected to have a good hand? Won't your opponents think you're bluffing and call lighter, which is what you'd want? Thanks!

Keep it up! Btw, in GTO Wizzard you can set it so it can show yoy the EV of each decision, which is a much helpful info than just seeing the decision. There you can see how good a decision is, some are just on the board and really game dependent. Let me know if you need any additional info! Good luck!

with AKo no diamond, your flop bet should be larger, turn can bet/check and same for the river

yea i got a buddy who always limps low pocket pairs to try n set mine and play for stacks if he hits. I usually open them tho.
Not a good play by your buddy, if you ask me, as limping passes the initiative to other people and also removes another way to win the pot preflop when everybody folds. Also by calling you give an opportunity to the BB to see the flow and thus realize his equity :)

I used to feel the same way about pocket pairs OOP, but when you do spike a set you can get PAID. As far as facing a 3! depends how deep and if it's a nit I just fold.

I dunno, with the 45 clubs hand your reasoning for not wanting to bet seems counter intuitive to me. The best time to get paid is when you show up with monsters in spots where you are not supposed to have monsters. And if you show up with monsters when you are likely to have monsters, guess what happens.... that's right, you get paid less often, usually because someone else shows up with an inferior monster.
Low pocket pairs pre-flop -- if you can limp in, sure. But if someone three bets or just bets big, GTFO.
