I had no clue his name was Sheev until a few years ago.

He managed to fix the Prequels (yes they were trash without Clone Wars. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug), so if anyone can fix the Sequels he can.

That's what Prequel haters said when they heard about Clone Wars. Grow up. The Sequels will always be canon, if creators like Filoni can make them retroactively better by adding connections to make the story more cohesive, that's an objectively good thing.
It's exactly what Clone Wars did with the Prequels. Without Clone Wars, that era is just as trash as the Sequels. People just don't want to see it because of nostalgia.

And yes Clone Wars has the biggest effect on Revenge of the Sith but it also expanded on that era in general, giving it a better sense of identity that makes the other two somewhat better as well.
