    Great video ! So one union prv is better than double union ? Because of making noise?

      That is one reason. They also have a separate chamber for the screen for cleaning. I know there are several other features also. I am really going from experience in the field. The larger valves just seem to last much longer . I often see them that are 20 years or even older and still working. Thanks for spending some time with us!!!!

    We have a complex with 54 units. Most of them have good water persher but some doesn't have much persher at all. We have called 2 different plumbing companies and both charged us for doing nothing. The persher was the same as it was when they showed up. I know these units have that valve. Looks like I'm going to replace one to see if it fixes the issue.

    I have a 2” PRV that is leaking from the adjustment screw. Is there an easy way to fix this leak?

      unfortunately not and they are expensive. It is possible you could tighten the nut that is over the screw closetest to valve body, but not likely. Good Luck!! Thank you for watching!!

    If the valve is leaking from the top where the screw is to adjust it, does it have to be replaced? It started leaking after I lowered the house pressure

    I have a prv valve installed and it's leaking from the internal organs lol . I just went ahead and bought the exact same PRV valve. Is it as easy as removing the old leaky one and putting on the new one. Please say yes

    • @TappPlumbing
      @TappPlumbing  Před 8 měsíci

      It can be very easy or it could be like the one in this video. It just depends on how it was installed. Best of luck and keep us posted please.

      It's the exacts same part I bought and matched it to it. What I'm saying is I should not need anything else unless it's broken of course

      @@DAT-TEXAS-DUDE That is correct, you new PRV should come with new gaskets ,make sure to replace them also and you should be good to go! Let me know how things turn out if you have the time please!!
