  • SEATAC, Wash. - Dozens of pro-Palestinian protesters accused of blocking the main road to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) last month pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor charges on Monday.
Forty-six people were arrested for “failing to disperse” and “disorderly conduct” during the hours-long protest on April 15. The misdemeanor charges carry a maximum penalty of 90 days in jail and up to a $1,000 fine.
The charging decisions came just a day after the protest took place.

If there is any justice in the US they will be charged and serve jail time.
I would also accept exiling them to Palestine. Since they love it so much they can live there.

I would up the charges to a felony since they want to take up court time and waste tax payers money.

They could have claimed that they were saving the environment by preventing people from flying. They would have been celebrated since Seattle is a progressive city and cares about the environment.

There is no constitutional right to hold people hostage while you "protest" you have the right to protest to your government, there is nothing in the constitution that says a free citizen has to listen to your protest or your freedom of speech. You sure as hell dont have the right to stomp on people's right and keep them doing what they choose to do by blocking them in traffic.

@@hammer44head”blocking traffic”equals “holding hostage.” Got it. You have a well thought out and nuanced analysis of this story. You should be a reporter.
