I spectated a game at about 1.5k MMR level with a mid Techies vs a PA, and the Techies was like 6-0 by level 6. The PA couldn't farm or come onto the HG, the mines just one-shotted him. The cores on Techies' side just stomped on the PA late game cause he got zero farm in lane. It was crazy. And now this!? Mmmmm . . .
Serious question: I've just ground an alt account to 100 hours, and am preparing to play my calibration matches. What should I think about/prepare for etc. before booking a coaching session with either of you? Trying to get the most out of the session, and want to make it easier on you guys to help out the best you can.
Joe Bergeron save a game where you are barely winning or barely losing with both team composition that seems fair on every stage of the game. Dont choose a game where you are playing morph vs a fucking sven hard carry cause morph will definitely out carry sven (not a good example but you know what i mean). Barely winning/losing long game where there are a lot of comebacks gets to show your plays when you are losing and winning and important decision making that causes you the lost/win.
The first Techies game I ever played for the All Hero Challenge, I begged someone to Pudge for me so I wouldn't have to actually learn how to play Techies. :P
Cool video. I wouldn't mind seeing techies get a rework to make him a viable hero. I say make all of his usual mine laying abilities become timed explosives that set off in a few seconds and take a number of hits before they can be killed (like a weaver bug or undying tomb). Take his focus away from setting up traps in favor of being a powerful team fighter/pusher.

We were doing this in our low rank matches with friend for half a year now, and we have 70% winrate on it. (pudge 3, techies 4) At first it was yolo strat but it works.

The fact that Pudge hook miss point-blank is because his hook is so slow-moving, I think osfrog secretly slow pudge's hook in the patch does not reveal it. Maybe because he probably getting stomp by pudge in his game probably
