pro tip. The best pos 4 heroes are sd and silencer.
@@edinbhop myb, silencer as pos 5 to zone the offlaners 24/7. No hero can withstand it not even bristle. hes shit as pos 4 or 2.
@@edinbhop I know but hes good against pretty much all offlaners that have it easy if u have a regular support with a stun. If he keeps his distance even i struggle as an offlaner. cant trade with him, he just steals int and deals more dmg every single attack. His q slows so u cant run up even with a fast base ms and his e deals int multiplier at the end of all the int stealing when you think youre fine but then it hits a damn 200 on lvl 1. because your int is at like 10 and hes at 50. Base dmg is 80 and 1.5x base int. And if u die even once in lane he gets so ahead in int and dmg output even timber cant sustain it. If offlane are both ranged then it isnt a flat out ez win but if both are melee then their morale hits 0. it all depends on how good you are. A good player will style on you even if youre playing a counter hero. His ult is also the best thing there is. it forces people to buy dispels which waste time, u pop it after they bkb and they cant do anything. Ive had enigma pickers literally give up on min 1.

This actually helps to ancient players like me. I definitely had the same mentality as that ancient from the video every single game and wondering what's the breaking point for me to surpass ancient. Here on this video, I now see why.
well Ancient 5 is better that 90% of all players in the world, so you really need to change mindset if you want to became better player, because people play pretty much ok on Ancient bracket. Im on divine 1 and i didn't go up for full year now, and the scary thing is that i don't blame teamates for that anymore...

I would love more videos like this hopefully covering all the different roles. I enjoy how it was broken down.
Some caveats: it's easier to take the dangerous farm if you have a Clockwerk providing you vision (which happened multiple times in this video) and it's also easier to go for farm speed over fighting abilities, if you're in a team that has a 100% laid out strategy that revolves around Lifestealer not fighting too early. By no means does that say that your points are invalid, it's just the kind of context you probably should include.
I feel it might be more fitting to compare pubs with pubs no?
this is an awesome idea, many players are blind to their own inadequacies on dota 2 and this helps to give a real time visual

This is a great style of video that really puts a spotlight on how and why pros are so effective. I'd like to see something like this done for Topson, who I feel like is one of the players who can most push his heroes to the limits even in the context of midplayers, who typically are always the one with the most outplay potential.

I think this style of video is a very nice touch. Myself being in a lower bracket than these folks really gives me an opportunity to visually see the outcome of the strategies being pursued.
I would love to see Pos 3+4 off-lane combos pro vs. pubs. specifically how they work together to "ruin" the lane for the opposing carry and when they stay, rotate, etc.

Im an ancient player and I beated inmortals top >200 in Battlecups with my inmortal top 2000 friends. I almost beated the ex Beastcoast (Ryoya, ixmike, MoOz, 1437) but I throwed the game sadly.
I think most of us have the skill to beat them but not the knowledge of how to play and make decisions correctly so thank you so much for the good content!

This is a fantastic video, but it would have been nice if you were going to do a comparison, that it's a comparison under similar circumstances. A game which you have pretty much free-farm looks and plays out entirely different from a lane which you are strongly contested. Definitely very educational, but it would have been interesting to see how miracle plays under the same circumstances as the Ancient player.
I would also like to see a video about roles(1,2,3,4,5), their main goal in the game, their timings, when they should leave the lane, when the 2 should gank, when carry should start involving in team fights and these type of things
would be nice to see this happen in comparison to games where pretty much everything goes bad from the start, how well the pro makes enemies life hard compared to pubber who probably just end up feeding even more :P
Really good video but change the camera layout. Position the two gameplay windows vertically, one on top and one on bottom. It will be much easier on the eyes.
If you can do a Rubick it would be cool, been maining him while I try to climb the ranks from Herald and would like to know how to play him effectively so I can get out of Herald.

Donnie please cover ember spirit! Because he's such a versatile hero. Some different builds/playstyles will be very nice. And perhaps you could guide us/give us some things to look out for that help us decide what kind of playstyle to adopt in a particular game.

how exactly do you get yourself into the position to have this free farm like miracle? unless this is a 1 in 30 game where he's got offlaners cutting creeps or is there something about the draft, his laneing partner that allows his farm to be so damn uncontested (talking about miracle still)

Hey Donnie, love the video. I just wanted to follow-up on the topic a bit: I feel as though the most difficult part about implementing this advice is ultimately knowing when you are killable, or under what circumstances. For example, I know now thanks to this video that naix hits a strong timing with early maelstrom sange/halberd and is nearly unkillable thanks to rage tp, but how were players able to gauge this in the first place? Without the video, I personally wouldn't have known. Does it come from experience, an intimate understanding of stats/ability damage/hero scaling, or what? I can certainly understand the message behind the video, but I think that the hard part is knowing when the time is to take the hard farm.
I think it comes from knowledge of the game such as knowing the power spikes of a hero.
It's a good video and while I agree with the idea and the concept, you simply cannot play like Miracle on Ancient rank or in 4-5k pub in general. Nigma have way better vision and communicate fast and efficient. In a pub you see nothing and nobody tells you if someone who could possibly kill you is gone from their lane. Another thing is the opponents. Secret literally let Miracle free farm because they are trading pretty much equal farm on their cores or simply because it isn't worth to rotate for the reasons you specified. So he can go greedy with his build and rush maelstrom no boots, gets free towers and that opens up even more space to farm. Meanwhile ancient guy clearly had two enemies constantly contesting him. If he goes for the same build, he can get bullied by them way easier. Possibly dove under tower and die because it's a pub and nobody cares.
I am ancient / divine rank myself and I watch tons of pro games, been playing since way back in DotA 1 and you really have to take the pro games with a grain of salt and use your brain before you try to copy pro tactics in your pubs.
Can you go over mid game for all roles and rotations game plan. Think a lot of videos focus on early game

I think it's great for sure. Maybe make the music at the start and end a bit quieter but that's pretty minor. I'd love one on Oracle, i've been learning him lately as a Pos 5 player and think he's super interesting. Loving the content as usual!

Tbh most pubs are 5v5 instead of 2 teams playing, I believe it will greatly benefit if it is not a random pub player. Maybe take a lower level team or find someone you know plays with a team.

im pretty sure if the ancient player swapped with miracle nigma still would have won the game. Ls hit creeps all game and halberd or just sange wouldnt really do a difference in the fight. The biggest difference in the 2 replays are the other 9 players

Like Henry said, most players got to their mmr by farming gaster but I don't think focusing on farming faster as why miracle did better here. What about pulling to the big camp? There's more than farming that is going on here

Hello to anyone who sees this comment, can anyone give me tips on how to get out of archon so far I know the basics such as:
1. Item timings
2. Core bringing detection
3. PMA
4. I'm a pretty decent drafter for my rank (I think)
5. Decent cs for my rank I think I get 50 cs in 10 mins without heavy pressure as core
6. I pull
Any feedback/tips or anything is really helpful for someone who really wants to improve at this game
In 2k -4k bracket its so hard to have communication and teamwork which will most of the time lose u the game. what I do to climb is just try play my best and play around my team and dont try to create a gameplay ( cause cammunication issue) and wait for enemy to do dumb shit. 1k to 3k people love to do dumb things. Abuse thai guess.

It isn't as easy as this video suggests. In pro games people sack lanes and dont contest them at all (as it's usually not worth it) but in Ancient 5 you can't really play that aggressive as they rotate fucking 5 people to kill you, even tho its totally not worth it. Not to say that Ancient 5 is any good, but you have to play different in different brackets to succeed. For Ancient 5 to Divine 3 it's enough if you just flash farm jungle and dont play hyper aggressive before the first 1-2 big items.
To add to this note - your teammates are also way worse and won't give you the space to pull any of the pro replay off. :/

Hes saying miracle understands when to rush items and when you should buy smaller items first on a game by game basis
I dont think the ancient player could have rushed a miolnir in that lane as thing tourned out for him.

hard thing to do in ancient bracket is you need to attack and kill enemy everyday/night/month if you dont hit opposing team, your teammate will cry and throw the game hahhahahahahahaha
