Because it's usually celebrities who get roasted(actors), not athletes. This roast brought in a whole new audience.
Brady going out his way multiple times to protect Kraft during the roast was rich.
This is why I people hate celebrities they all sit on there high horse and call everyone sensitive but they the most sensitive people on earth .
They just ignored that dude that correctly called out has Tom has continually made choices for his own benefit to the detriment of his family. No one should be surprised. He’s GOAT but also chose to play longer than necessary to achieve that and his marriage ended and his kids only have a handful of years in the house left. He also signed up for Fox which is another choice that will take him away on weekends. Some guys are just driven and it makes them great but works against them in their family life.

I'm having a very hard time believing kids of multimillion dollar parents can be harmed by a bunch of comedians talking about stuff the kids ALREADY KNOW! Unless Tom and Giselle has been gaslighting their kids about who they are and how wonderful the marriage is, they know the relationship dynamic already. My folks divorced when i was seven and it wasn't traumatic for me - and I knew everything that was going on. Because my folks were transparent about everything. Tom has this pristine image and it got popped a little at a roast. No big deal. Tom regrets it because comedians put a little soil on his pristine suit. He's still the seven time Superbowl champion. He needs to get over this and stop using his kids to cover up his own embarrassment.
