I am getting hungry and I just started watching!!! Thanks for putting the name of the places, so when I come to Berlin, I can check them out!!! I most definitely will have to try Zur Haze, Brezel Bar, and Victoria Eis!!! Now I will just have to figure the trains, tram, bus system and plan accordingly for the 3 full days I will be there. Thanks for sharing and great suggestions to eat in Berlin!!!
Very nice video! Thank you! Asparagus is not for everyone, I have the feeling that even us Germans are divided about it. I know people who absolutely love it and people who hate it. Apparently, there is no in between. I live in South Germany and I love Brezeln! Only here you can get really good Brezeln and Laugengebäck (Pastries that are made with the same dough, but do not have the Brezel shape; my favorite is the Laugenring, basically a Brezel bagel). Brezeln are not only a bavarian thing, you can also get them in Baden-Württemberg. They usually are a little bit different, the "arms" are thinner and crispier, but the rest is the same.

Good video! Lack of salt and pepper is my biggest annoyance at restaurants. Also, I still call the white asparagus the oppressed kind, as it's grown under plastic. Green has so much better flavor and color. Also, if you can make it to Hamburg or Bremerhaven, their fish sandwiches beat anything in Berlin.
I’ve had it in Hamburg. I liked the Berlin one better. I had the smoked salmon a few weeks ago when I was recording a portion for this video that I decided against. And I had the Bismarck in like 2020 I think. Or one of them. I can’t remember which 😊
Nice work, looks like you put extra effort into this one. By the way, what ever happened with your nightmare of a flat mate? You still looking to find another place?
I like asparagus, but it''s one of the most expensive vegetables to buy! Im my opinion broccoli is better and is packed with way more vitamin c and vitamin k! Also, I forgot all about the butter pretzel!!! This is making me super hungry! haha However, my best night out were getting the Donner at 2 a.m. ! LOL Great video Seth!! 🤘
I don't like Bismarck herring at all, but I like Matjes* herring all the more. *Matjes (girl) means something like virgin. The herring before it is sexually mature.

Very well-made video with a lot of honesty and passion, appreciate it !
keep up the great work, man!
I only use green asparagus for grilling. White asparagus is much more tender and milder. Preferably with sauce Bearnaise.
I found the white to be stringy. I don’t much care for it
@SethinBerlin Then it was badly peeled, which shouldn't really happen in an asparagus farm or restaurant!
White asparagus must be peeled.

This is so exciting watching you eat
I don’t know if this is sarcasm but no one is making you watch 🤷

But I’m afraid my opinion might be colored by my Hamburg experience. I just haven’t been when the weather was pleasant.

They’re moving out on Sunday!!!!
Haxe has a big downside whitch should be mentioned.
It does not leave enough space for Spagetti Eis 😂
🤣🤣 it leaves more space than the eisbein!
