Now that I think I understand what you're going for, here's my suggestion: don't just show the first-place finisher. That would make sense with fewer racers, but with 100+, more racers need to place for it to feel fair. I'd suggest listing the top ten.

thank you. There are some bugs that need ironing and and there are glitches that happen when the vcam moves. hoping this catches on so i can continue the series.

With no understanding of anyone’s strengths and weaknesses (if there are indeed any differences at all) of course Luigi won the first race, he was in front of the line. Also, why do only some characters get to come back from death? It’s an amazing technical achievement, and I don’t want to downplay that, but I don’t see the point of future races of identically acting, different looking characters.
They come back to the wave they had just entered before they hit the fire or fell into the pit.

I don’t actually understand what’s happening here. Is this just an animation or is this race actually being simulated by AI in real time?

Ok, to be fair on the third race, Mario Maker did in fact hit the flagpole first before Yoshi and Yoshi hit it further below Mario Maker which is why it looks like he’s ahead cuz he got off faster and is now in front of him.

It should show a leaderboard with at least the top 4 like in Mario Kart. When there's only one character on the screen it's so hard to tell how anyone else is doing.

TBH, this feels more like a tech demo than an actual watchable video. Unless you're going for the same RNG-race style as those Algodoo marble races?
I am still working out all of the bugs and adding new features. I built this engine myself so yea there is a lot of work remaining to improve it. I hope people like the idea and i can keep building on it.

It feels a little repetitive and how the other characters couldn't use a different tactic than others, instead they all go the same route, and they don't jump or anything unless the obstacle forces it, and the obstacles itself feels very generic and really easy, but I can tell this has a lot of work put into it, so you still did a pretty great job on this. Just a few critics is all.

@@Hawks1908 Even then it's kind of dumb for some of them to not use their abilities, like Sonic to just run, or Greninja to just climb most of the obstacles from the outside. Saying they are not allowed to do it would not be an excuse, because in that case it wouldn't make sense to even make a race using such characters in the first place.

XD I noticed that during the first run of the race, Luigi and some of the other characters kept respawning somehow despite dying multiple times yet certain other characters who died were out for the rest of that race. This video was still good though and also funny due to that momment alone.
