How to Disassemble / Field strip / Take apart a GLOCK handgun for beginners.
Thank you. I paid a dude at the range $20 to clean my Glock 19 and 357 hand gun.man, after watching your Video, I can do this myself.Kudos!!!
Thanks for this. Glocks are very easy to strip and are made extremely well. Joe is right though, gun safety is paramount and any video on safe operation and maintenance should be preceded by safety checks of the pistol.
Great video. It really helped me with taking apart the gun and cleaning. Thank you. Hope to see more videos from you.
Simple and thorough. Thank you for making this video.
Again this is fantastic for a newbie as myself, Many Thanks, Mike
thank you I definitely found this highly helpful. I'm a beginner thus is my first time. you couldn't be more specific thanks keep making more helpful vids
Good simple video. Thanks
Thank you just bought a Glock 45 gen 4
Best vid out there.Simple instructions and easy to follow. Was a unit armor in the Army.
Jeffrey conner thank you!
thanks, even though Glock is in the next town over from me, i am glad to see i can do this without making a trip.
thanks man this really helped.
Awesome video brother
You MUST pull the trigger before you retract the slide and depress the slide lock OR YOU WILL NEVER GET THE GUN APART! DUH!
Fucking THANK YOU!!
Very good video
Very helpful
Great video! I was going to pick one of these (glock 19) up but had never handled a gun before. Now, watching this video and others, I know how.
Thank you
Thank you sir!!
Great demo, thanks..
Happy to help! Glad you enjoyed the video!
still pretty new with guns. had to dry fire last. i would pull the slide back, press the little things down, then dry fire. the slide would come right off. could not do it in the order you are saying.
Why not show the procedure to make sure the gun is unloaded and prepared for disassembly. The video lacks in exhibiting safe handling of the gun.
If you’re disassembling a loaded gun, at this point its just asking for it
always something negative to say. He said the gun was clear.
At what point did you pull the trigger when disassembling?
Can a bullet be loaded without the clip? I'm assuming so. Particularly with the 10mm 20, or the .45 21. Thx
it could be a bullet ine the chamber so make sure you check it out before taking the gun apart
This is still hard as fuck for me with my hand you make it look to ez lol
a gun is never empty
I still can't get the slide off. I can't pull the buttons on the side down. I can't do it both at the same time. my hands can't do it
That take down lever is one of the lousiest ergonomic designs I've had to use.
Pulls trigger as needed but doesn't mention it. Ppl new to Glock are still struggling to this day.
You could avoid this by simply buying any version of the Sig Sauer 226 exc. On an added note, you would then get a better weapon as well. Look up field strip Sig Sauer 226. BTW: Our family has a combined 36 handguns with several Glocks, and even more Sig's, if your gonna pay a decent amount for a hand gun, look no further than Sig Sauer, you wont ever be disappointed.
I still cant do it...
That is terrible firearm safety. Saying you made safe the firearm is Something nobody should take for granted. You could have had a round in the chamber. Especially as your "teaching " how to handle a weapon you should include in your video how to make safe by visually clearing the weapon. 2). At the start ( just after you should have cleared it ) you cocked it then put it on the floor and put you fingers in front of the barrel. A very novice mistake. 3) when reinstalling the slide you once again "cocked" the firearm and placed it on the floor. A cocked weapon only has 2 places to be. In you hand if you are going to fire it, on in a holster. If you are going to teach others how to handle firearms, then you should not instill bad habits to you viewers. Once a weapon is "made safe" you need a safe direction, and a a safe place to close the breach and pull the trigger . A barrell of sand or a pad. Please please go and do some firearm safety courses/refreshers before continuing. It would be bad if a beginner followed your example and shot someone ( like a Child in the next room) by accident.
as you are obviously unaware, I will enlighten you. 1) "obviously " is not a term in firearm safety. that is guess work. 2) doing a tutorial video that needs to be shown that it has been made safe. there are those that have no real firearm sense ( like you) that would take this video as a how to and copy the technique. 3) when someone get accidentally shit, obviously safe is not a garauntee. so if you want to call me anymore childish names , go right ahead. but doing firearm safety tutorials without covering all the point is Dangerous and irresponsible.
he did a good job with the vid explaining how to disassemble the gun but i have to agree that the way he handle the gun is unsafe and that's coming from a guy who have only shot a gun once
to instruct those with no gum experience or knowledge, an instructor must make it clear you need to KNOW that it has been see safe. "obviously " is not in an instructors vocabulary. Obviously will only make bad habits for the new guy.
Just subscribed! We really like your videos over here and think you might be able to benefit from our veteran produced firearm workstations. Check us out if you get some time!
Is that a real gun it looks fake to me
Don't listen to them
This guy has a ridiculous method of taking off the slide from the frame.
Oh wait every one does it. I don't do that.
It worked for me. I was pulling the slide just a hair to far back until I watched this video. Now I can get the slide off every time
