Comparison of the following shading inks: - SILVERBACK INK - INTENZE Bob Tyrrell Advanced Black and Grey Tattoo Ink Formula Set - Slava INK -ing shading ink
The bob tyrell set I have is way different than what that one had, the tones are mine are exactly how they are supposed to, and its also the way you use them, bob tyrell expalined that well at the Tattoo seminar with boris and mario barth, everytime I have used it, its amazing quality. silver black ink is good, but not for every artist. and I agree with MegaWestcoastin
In the instructions.. Bob Tyrrell explains to use a extra blanc solution for the creation of lighter tones. Bob Tyrrell's set is the best set I've ever used in my life. period.
Well I think is badd ass what you did but I make my gray wash as I goo..... kuru sumi 3 drops shading ink then keep it wet on medium caps= light tone =blodline 4 drops shading ink then keep it wet on medium cap = medium light tone = soft grays 5 drops shading ink then keep it wet on medium cap = third light tone right before regular color of shading ink = dark soft grays Regular shading ink for dark spots but not black Then outlining black for darkest tones thats my set up hopefully it might work for someone it does for me Silver back 100% good stuff
am I the only one that cant see barely if any no difference in the first two sets, the slava is the only one that changes to darker? that sucks I would be so pist if I spent all my money on ink then to realize most of the bottle are basically useless
I dilute my own using Intenze black or kiro sumi. 1,3,6,9 etc, droplets per cap, add distilled water n stir. Very consistent. I do like pre wash as well
These colors (and Bob Tyrrell from the video) were purchased from UNIMAX. I have not added any ingredients. If a mistake in the colors, it is their mistake. Make a video with your SILVERBACK colors that we can look.
Slava looks like it has the best value, bobs looks to deep, iv used bobs and finished all my inks i like the work but i want more super rich black and grey idk i guess im just trying out more washs till i fall in love with one, im using ala prima now gonna change agian was hoping silverback i could give a try, what i need from a wash is the pigment not to separate breack down so fast once in my cap like my light grey wash in my ala prima wash, i need them strong slava looks legit, does the ink stay strong in the caps? the pigment not breaking down showing separation from the water and ink?
i have bobs and and all of it looks so dark exept light tone looks good to me other oonce are just to dark i just got true black intenze darkwildstyle do you think its a good idea to pre mix it with wichhazel to make it more lighter ? my homeboy got a tatt at the shop and its has a gray look to it and i did one on him and it came out much darker is it because intenze just looks like that or do i have to premix it myself
Zurab Gagnidze i use intenze solution but to tell you the truth now ah days i use just dark and medium wash i hardly use light, i mix dark and medium and mix it with the solution but to tell you the truth pure water works just as good as long as you know how to do your blends, just dip in your wash and if you wanna go lighter with the same tones just dip into your water or solution, check my work on IG at darcs_art
Hi, try Dynamic ink, it's pretty good. The tone after healing depends on the color of the skin. If the skin is lighter the color will look quite black, if the skin is darker it will have a blue or green hue because the skin acts as a color filter
Hi i have a question.. Is it safe to pour ink or re-fill ink caps when tattooing? or is it safer to just have extra ink caps out in case the ink runs out in the ink caps when tattooing?
slavatattookg i got intenze and all i use is light tone and i got true black i will try to break them up of 1 oz ink 1oz hazel see how that turns out )
+Zurab Gagnidze it is grey wash , but you have to dip between the shades to get mid tones and light tones , and never pack it in the skin just use smooth brush strokes to build your values up
thats the way to go, no need to buy the sets at all. we who know how to do it do not need pre blended washes. ew do them ourself. right?

Regular shading ink for dark spots but not black

Silver back 100% good stuff
+borracho1106 keep it wet? what does that mean?
I like silverback black. The greywash set dodnt seem to have much difference so I use a cup of black and a cup of water for greywash.

I don't recommend them, they are too dark. I have not tried Eternal, i use only Slava INK-ing b&g colors :-D
Slava looks like it has the best value, bobs looks to deep, iv used bobs and finished all my inks i like the work but i want more super rich black and grey idk i guess im just trying out more washs till i fall in love with one, im using ala prima now gonna change agian was hoping silverback i could give a try, what i need from a wash is the pigment not to separate breack down so fast once in my cap like my light grey wash in my ala prima wash, i need them strong slava looks legit, does the ink stay strong in the caps? the pigment not breaking down showing separation from the water and ink?
hi... there is no separation and pigment not dries quickly (ten hours tested and will not dry). best regards

slavatattookg def wanna give your wash a try!
Slava ink? Where can I buy? I use silverback and the color shades are different my x3 was darker than yours and my x4 is about the same as #4 slava,
ok thank you.. would you recommend it for B&g work? Have you tried the greywash system by Eternal?

Hi whats the size of the Intenze bob tyrrell ink bottles in your video?
no problem :-)
Is it possible to use dark wash ink in place of ink used for lining
yes, but lines will be lighter
If you are doing black and grey portraits you could, bob Tyrell uses a grey wash to map out the lines, then goes back in
oh an i dont think that is real silverback they prob have the best gray wash series around....that dont look right
hey which one is the best ink?? which is safe and also dark black which does not go green over time?
Hi, try Dynamic ink, it's pretty good. The tone after healing depends on the color of the skin. If the skin is lighter the color will look quite black, if the skin is darker it will have a blue or green hue because the skin acts as a color filter
maybe they are somewhere made a mistake in these that i bought :-)
you can buy from me :-)
good shit wats the secondet of bottles u used called?
how do i go about getting some of your ink, im a redistered artist
hOW CAN I GET OE OF YOUR GREY WASH SETS?
Hi i have a question.. Is it safe to pour ink or re-fill ink caps when tattooing? or is it safer to just have extra ink caps out in case the ink runs out in the ink caps when tattooing?
Hi, always use new caps! If you don't, when a drop of color falls, it could happen spattering that can infect a whole bottle of color!
That makes sense... thank you for your reply!
that slava looks too watered down
i'm sorry, i did't understand the question
you just droped ink -.-
What? I can't hear you? Speak up
why intenze looks so dark isnt it suppose to be gray wash
i was wondering too, that's why i made this video
slavatattookg i got intenze and all i use is light tone and i got true black i will try to break them up of 1 oz ink 1oz hazel see how that turns out )
Zurab Gagnidze does silverblack has that gray pencil look when tattoo is healed ? have u tried it ?
+Zurab Gagnidze it is grey wash , but you have to dip between the shades to get mid tones and light tones , and never pack it in the skin just use smooth brush strokes to build your values up
Hi, 1oz bottles
