The damage model in FM2 is seriously impressive! I wonder why modern (Forza) games no longer offer that
manufacturers don't want it
It is strange isn’t it, especially since some games like Grid 2 still have impressive damage models. It’s either manufacturers being annoying or the fact that it’s too much work. (I don’t exactly know how damage models work / how a single model can be used for various cars, but I doubt they have to create one for each car individually)
It's my dream to have game with huge amount of cars like forza and with damage model like in older grids

If I'm not mistaken that 6.1L V12 engine swap pays homage to the "top secret" Supra. The one that exists in real life. That same Supra set top speeds of 222 MPH on Japanese highways and is still used for display. Pushing my rookie knowledge but I also believe the first owner of said "top secret" was apart of the midnight club in Japan in the early 90's before the club was disbanded due to a crash during a race that killed 6 civilians. Any who I'm probably wrong but I think that's where the V12 engine swap comes from.
Its the same displacement as the McLaren f1 so I guess its that one?

I played around with different compounds off-camera. You really have to be in a high hp car to notice slight differences.

Yes that's spot on. The 6.1 V12 is a BMW V12 but it's in the McLaren F1 and F1GT.

An interesting thing is that early GT500 Supras in the 1990s JGTC era used a motorsports version of the L4 3SGTE engine.

I just started watching the vid and I don’t think he covered this but in FH2 it you got the Fast and Furious Supra you could get around 260mph. That is if you raised the suspension and made the springs soft. And also changed the gear ratio to full speed. Me and my friend had a lot of fun. In FH2 it is my favorite car to drive. I tried doing 260mph in the normal Supra and it didn’t get it. It got like 230mph. I did this like a year ago so I don’t remember the exact how fast is could go. I’m gonna try doing the same thing in FH4 to a Supra. Wish me luck.

V12 is from the Top Secret top speed Supra, which uses the motor from the Toyota Century.

the 6.1 V12 is from: BMW built the legendary 6.1L V12 that powered the McLaren F1, an engine that, in its detuned state, won Le Mans more than once. In the years since the F1, McLaren's cars have been powered by Mercedes-Benz and, more latterly, a family of 3.8L twin-turbo V8s.

The v12 is the Toyota V12 from the toyota century, Probably so you can somewhat replicate Smokey Nagata's V12 Supra
I've been watching since before you started using your voice.
TopSecret (Smoky Nagata), a tuning company in Japan built a V12 Supra, which is why I am assuming why the V12 is in there. The V12 is from a Toyota Century, boasting a 1GZ-FE. Smoky made this V12 hit about 220 mph.
The top secret 0-300 supra is rb26 swapped which is another weird choice of engines but i like it
