Josh is so sweet and unbelievably romantic to be true. Age isn’t an issue for love yet a real problem in life when it involves a family formality. Liza and Charles are just natural, similar backgrounds, divorced with kids. Still, I was deeply touched by the pure romance from Josh.
You can soooo tell he doesn't want her to be 'aunt Liza'.... he wants to be with her :( My heart...
You can also see that she doesn't want to be "just aunt Liza". That's the most heartbreaking thing. They want more but they are stuck in this situation.
The way Josh looks at liza is just so different.

I prefer Charles to Josh, but Josh is just so real in this scene. The "why'd you have to kiss him" line is so heartbreaking...it's great acting on Nico's part. Poor, sweet Josh.

ASIYA ABDI but shouldn't that be a plot point where they talk about this? Obviously since it was suppose to be "no feelings" Josh should be hurt. But I feel like it should be a plot point where they talk about this. It may come up later in the season but I don't see how they can after all this time bring it up so it makes sense.

Josh met Liza at a bar. Liza lied about her age to get a job. She told Josh the truth about her whole real life. Josh was mad at first but because he's so terribly in love with Liza he forgave her. Josh literally loves Liza unconditionally. Then, there's Charles, Liza's boss whom she has feelings for. Josh saw the two kissing and he was going to ask Liza to marry him, but, he was trying to surprise her, but, unfortunately, the surprise was on him. Anyway, Josh loves Liza, and now Liza is in love with two men. So now, she has to choose.

I made it through all 4 seasons and I don´t get it. Does LIza do love Josh and Charles or what?! So irritating
I actually dont want them together at all. I want her with charles. these two are just not realistic and its not because of the age. To me they just dont fit together in the end.

Charles is a fantasy most women have Josh is realistic is a scary way due to age. If he was older she'd have no issues with him other than actually being herself which only she can work through.
Josh wants his future life to be what Liza ex or former life was. No fun, raising children and getting older.
Charles is older enough to know what his life needs : poetry and fantasy... But he wants everybody to be honest to him. He wants a lot of things which is not realistic. So they will break in the end.
Or maybe they will have another story together, he meets her at the bus stop and...since he's already lost his company, what does he have to loose?
