I never realized charged assault had that up time on buffs. I've always wanted a reason to build whisper though. Idk why but I love the idea of single target boss slayers
I used her in relentless and got 8 hits in a row against clan boss, god this must've been a year ago.
I love my Whisper, I have her in relentless and it's so much fun when sometimes she just goes nuts getting tons of extra turns. Nice showcase :D
I got Whisper with the Amazon Prime promo and she has been one of my faves for ages. I love her so much.

Your timing on this was very good. I actually built a Whisper to do just this, b/c I also noticed that she can have full uptime with her buffs. Thanks for sharing your results.
When I got her.... I really wanted to try to use her.... I got my first one in a long time like 2 weeks ago and been wanting to build her haha!

I got Whisper when she came out, for prime or whatever it was, when I was still early-mid game and she was killing it for me. I've seen her go multiple times in clan boss like damn how many turns does she get lol
btw, Hex on aoe's works out to roughly a 2% bonus per target, because it happens for every target that gets hit. its about the same as single target in most places and only slightly worse in hydra.

I think its really cool that hex is making single target nukers more viable. So many champs that are good but not really used because they dont have AoEs.
Also I was kinda ready for numbkeks after that intro!
Still working on my Oboro after your video on her. Liking the hydra sleepers theme - especially since I'm trying to hoard shards and not pulling.

You need an average of 2.67 hits per attack for Giantslayer to equal Warmaster. In Clan Boss, there is a damage cap on those abilities, so you need 2 hits per attack.
Still working on getting Mithrala. Any suggestions for the best replacement until I do get her?
If you want to guarantee Mischief spawning on your run, bring in Counter Attack.
This is nice! I have had a 60, fully Mastered Whisper sitting in the vault... I built her to get through KR Faction Wars because I didn't have Faceless. Might have to revisit her!

I have all champs except for Nekmo. Would salad or anybody else be a good substitution?
Great , knew I shouldn't regret 6s . She was my 3rd epic I maxed like 2 years ago now I have a reason to take her out of the vault again
I also just pulled her out. Put her in life steal and perception. Already used my hydra keys this week. But next week I'll give her a spin...

I literally just busted her out to use with the new referral epic in reflex gear and was ridiculous, lol. Now I see this!
One combo I would still like to see is a hex champion together with knight errant, he hits hard and can now spread some of that damage with hex. He just never gets any screentime because of his outdated nature

@@archam777 that makes no sense since geos dmg goes aoe in hydra. Sure some 3rd champion might do more on bommal but they are simply unrelated areas
@@lianghou7000 All I was doing was making a comment, that whisper, (in the run he just did in this video) did as much damage as my geomancer normally does in an ultra nightmare regular CB run.
I don't know how that's so impossible or hard to understand.
Not saying you can substitute one for the other, not saying that you should use one over the other one in a team. Not comparing them in any way whatsoever besides saying that whisper did as much damage on Hydra as my geomancer does on an ultra nightmare run on UNM clan boss.

Geomancer does decent amount of damage on an UNM daily clan boss. Whisper does a decent amount of damage on this run on hydra....... They both do a lot on their respective "runs".
Saying it's impressive that she can do as much on Hydra as Geo can do on UNM clan boss.

Just a question .... Is there any difference either you level up your fodders first before you feed them to your epic or legendary characters or is it ok to just feed them as soon as you already got them when you break some gems in the portal??? And why????
12 days ago i know.... but the only reason to level up food champs before you feed them to someone is to get the extra points in a champ training event. If there's no champ training event/tourny then leveling your food is just wasting resources

Whisper was my 2nd void epic and she carried me a long way. I think I'll bring her back out of the vault. 😁
So how is the hex doing the extra damage? I'm a little fuzzy on that part. I didn't see anything in Whispers, or Mithrallas kits that mention ancilliary damage?
The hex debuff was changed so that it spreads some of the damage to targets under hex. It's in the debuff, not the kits.

Try this build with cleoptrix, she has the hex debuff on the A3
you could run with the deliana champ for aoe leech and just let deliana cycle through all 3 of her abilities

Imagine you use skull lord instead of oboro. Can keep decay fully provoked by himself, fills the mischief tank roll, i even have mine in guardian to soak some damage as well since his base stats are so crazy
He's fully aware of Skull Lord. Oboro is optimal hear because Whisper self buffs with 2 buffs... Oboro puts 5 buffs on herself. This allows her to always have more than the rest of the team including whisper...
@@benjaminroe311ify Of course he is aware - His videos are the reason I use Skull Lord. But my theory is that the extra turns will keep team buffs off of Whisper for the most part, so while she does self buff, she's getting rid of the increase speed etc faster. As well, if you put Rector over Aniri, you get another buff, a way to deal with the fear head, and you likely don't get that buff put on whisper all the time as she'll be the squishiest member of the team
Also can’t use with Mythrala as she puts strengthen.
Why does lowerong her crit rate makes her kill spider faster?
I've had whisper since earrrrrrly into the game. Think she was my 3rd void shard. Never ranked her past 5 cuz she was lame. This might make me rethink this tho...
Does she work without mithrala, and the Void epics ? And a normal set , other then relentless.
Relentless is god tier but not required. You can run her in reflex so your always slamming the move that ignores defense.(though that can mean less extra turns from autos to an extent) Or just w/e gear you have laying around that will keep her alive and smacking. Like he says in the video you get quite a bit of flexibility since you only have to build her with the 70% crit.
Well time to dust her off and get her out of the vault! WOW!

Ok, I pulled her out of vault. Now she have to wait her turn to get to lv 50 and then to lv 60. :D

As a new player i dont understand how this champs kit has been overlooked a bit
her main use has only ever been clan boss, and her extra turn mechanics made her only useful in specific comps where extra turns were viable

In the old days... there was no Hydra... there was no Doom Tower. The only bosses you had to worry about were the Faction Wars and Dungeon Bosses and Regular Demon Lord Clan Boss. Those were all easy. And because of Whisper's extra turn mechanic, you could not use her in many clan boss teams because she would outrun the buffs placed by the other champs. Whisper has always been well respected as a single target damage dealer to help Knight Revs in clan boss. But was largely useless in Arena, Demon Clan Boss, Spider, FireKnight, IceGolem, Dragon there are much better options. She's obviously an S-Tier damage dealer in Hydra now... but wasn't even that...more B+ or A tier only until the recent HEX buff to share damage. Now because of that Hex change she is obviously an S-Tier damage dealer in compositions that run hex...prior to that her only role was to help your Faction Wars team if they needed DPS on the boss...
Clearly, Whisper was the star of the show.
But Nekmo ... cmon ... I am so impressed by this lizard for hydra
Well it does work with with you guys,like it probably would any champ:)) but to build her its not easy.. I did try my best after this video... 6star best gear I have.. but she is no where close to this video:)
Best boss dps for KR FW: whisper or faceless?
Use Faceless. Worked out well for me against Valk waves

Faceless, mostly because he ignores shields for valks and does good enough damage to solo the boss.

Is raid dying? The answer is no because you nub are single-handedly keeping it alive with your CPR: the infectious enthusiasm in these hydra videos.
You keep up the interest in the most hated and flawed content raid has ever released. Plarium owes you a huge debt of gratitude.
Hopefully in exchange they will listen to your critique of the most flawed portions of Hydra. Specifically the interaction between Hydra heads getting extra turns and the devourer mechanic which was clearly not anticipated by the devs.
Please ask plarium to make the following changes: increase the devour counter by one every time a hydrahead gains an extra turn, gains turn meter, or takes a turn under life shield.
This will go a long way to alleviate the RNG in Hydra. Difficult content is one thing but a near random overlap of combined barriers which are insurmountable is no fun--a waste of time.
