Nub, thank you for all the content surrounding Hydra. It’s the one area of the game I struggle with as an end game player. I have amazing champs but struggle to build them or come up with creative comps like this idea. Thanks for all your work, you actually helped me 1key normal hydra finally, and give me the confidence and tools I need to take on higher difficulties.

All right, you probably never look at comments this long after a video. But, YOU ARE THE MAN!!!! Thank you. I have been avoiding hydra (after my clan did an organized push, so I DO have her already) It was just sooooo freaking frustrating, and it gives nothing now worth the trouble. You brought me back. This team is easy to use, not hard to equip. It is truly a beauty to behold. I had Oboro built as a damage dealer and tried it. Got my butt handed to me. I switched to resistance on chest plate/banner and oh my…worked like a charm. Thank you so much (even though you will probably never see this) when I say you made my MONTH, I am NOT exaggerating. Thank you again!

great vid, I used Oboro a lot in Hydra V1 back when you could chain endless deterrence procs but forgot about her self-buffs. Gives me something to play around with for sure.

Awesomeness. I haven't been playing hydra much due to head of mischief....I have oboro and was just getting ready to re build her. Perfect timing.
When I pulled Oboro I originally thought it was Serris and jumped out of my chair screaming "YES!" but had a bit of a comedown when realizing it wasn't. However, Oboro is a great champ in her own right. I haven't 6 starred her yet but I've been thinking about it. The only reason I haven't is I don't currently use her on my faction wars team.

Great video -- love the Hydra content. Subscribed. I use Vogoth in a similar role (high resistance tank) as you use Oboro.
FYI, Deterrence doesn't trigger on a Shamael team -- you can change those masteries if you want to tweak it.

Do you think 140 speed in atk boots is better that 185 with speed boots for this team? I'm not sure which way to go
I had to go Accuracy chest to get enough ACC, but that means my resist is only 406. I get the 20 point resist bonus from the defense tree once I get the masteries done only got the third row so far. Could I do the resist bonus from row 6 of Defense masteries instead of Warmaster? Should I be OK? She's slow as hell also as I went defense boots. It's all Stoneskin on her so could I change from Defense boots to speed?
Am I correct in assuming Mithrala is needed for Hex? I have all but her ready to go. Best replacement for her?

Do you know if the mastery “solidarity” applies to the buffs she gives herself and she gets the extra resistance? I cannot figure out how to find this info…

what is preventing wrath from completely wiping the team? Is it because everyone is wearing a specific gear? On hard mode, if I don't put attack down on wrath, he will do tremendous amounts of damage to me when his stack gets up high.

The biggest thing I hate on rotations with torment is the almost impossible to get through it without Shamael or Dutchess. Rector does OK, until the team starts taking too much dmg.
What I find annoying is the fact that you really don’t have many options for damage. Your main damage dealer will invariably get eaten first and if you get a bad slew of buffs/debuffs, it’s basically game over.
I’ve got a turvold sitting around feeling lonely - any reason I couldn’t use him for this job? Overkill… but could work?

Could hakkhorn smashlord work instead of mithrala? If used I would not use his A3. Hopefully this great idea of yours helps me get a mithrala and to become more useful to my clan.
perfect, she was on my waiting list and since we are getting bombed with Leveling Events and CvC coming up, I was looking for guys to put up to 6 stars. She just moved up the list by some spots =) I would love to pull an Aniri, I want her since the Release but she keeps giving me the cold shoulder... so sad =(

Oboro is a crazy dps champion when u make her a1 go off it hits harder than the single target version of it. She’s good for ice golem dragon hydra pvp and performs amazing in spiders den bc of the a1. She can cast her own perfect veil and steal buffs guaranteed if u build crit. I used her with conellia through campaign to 3 star everything.

So in theory, could the reflect damage from the new guaranteed barbarian summon maybe be useful? I'm not sure how good reflect damage is for hydra, but maybe there is some good extra damage with the buff extension, and it not getting stolen. So it could help maintain damage maybe through the possible varying hydras. Also maybe can help people hit that 450 resistance number if they are struggling at all. Since oboro is slow, it's probably very easy to keep that resistance buff on.
I don't have Geo... any sobstitute? mordecay or drextar?
Great video. You might want to avoid "cuts the wind" in Oboro's name, however, as it's like the American expressions "breaks wind" and "cut the cheese" had a baby.

Hi Nub !.. Seer + Oboro + Lydia + others champs = speed runs in dungeons ;) Even without Lydia it's a great combo !.. A shield set is better with Oboro in dungeons with Seer, or maybe relentless why not.
With a shield set in dungeons 20 - 25 : SPD + CR + ATK + CD

Maybe I'm crazy, but I think Drokgul the gaunt could replace Mithrala. Similar buffs except the strengthen and cleanse. Just some thought.
Demtyha sounds pretty decent too if they can't steal your buffs.

I like her because she does her own thing from the shadow all the time and is generally ignored while bringing decrease defense and stealing buffs. Bring along Geomancer and she then ignores 30% damage.
Her animations are cool, wish she was good in arena.

Hey I'm a endgame player mostly do arena want to do hydra my roster stack can you do a hydra tier list with legendary and epic. And a breakdown on what core things you need for certain heads or rotation. I love your content.

Geo for fraction huge but I got venomage wich is OK but 120 shards for a medium lego and only hitting 1 of the epics is a shit odd

This champion doesn’t place buffs on allies so the solidarity is actually useless

I have everyone on that team except for Geomancer. I just can not get that guy. I only had 22 shards this weekend because I opened my ancients last week on the 2x ancients. I opened my 22 shards and got 5 epics. None were Geomancer :(
regret same for me too, 5 epic but not Geo. so finally got him by a sacred shard.😂
