Imagine treating someone so badly that they want to isolate themselves from everyone. It's crazy, and the bully doesn't have enough of a conscious to realize what they're doing.

I'm an isolater. I'm extremely socially awkward. On the autistic spectrum and struggle with mental illness.I hate to be thought of as a victim, although I'm an easy target and have multiple bullies, especially in the Anonymous program I attend. My mental health isn't good at all right now. The ONE person I knew who supported me fully and loved me unconditionally recently passed from cancer. She always seemed to know what to say to me and gave Spiritual suggestions for my benefit. I've got to change my environment somehow. I've got to find something that makes me happier. Have been seeking out volunteer opportunities.
The bully knows. They know. Their intent is to eliminate someone who's better, in terms of skills and character.
A bully is very often a narcissist. They know what they're doing.

Bullying is a crisis. Often the competent people are bullied out.
Just reading a book by Ruth & Gary Namie who've done research on this. The targets of bullies are often ethical and technically competent people who threaten the bully.
yes of lately ive been getting Bullied, this happens to people that have potential to be in a high position, or that person has the talent to replace the bully, more often the one that's on the Receiving End usually isn't Speaking up, sometimes you have to be prepared to get confrontational.
@@breaks3085 Yes, that's what they say in the Namie book. The only way to deal with a bully is in their own language, and that often doesn't come naturally to targets.

@@breaks3085 It helps me to read about things to put them into perspective and get to a detached place. If I can see something that's happening to me as part of a general human pattern, it doesn't get to me as much and I find tools to deal with it. I also don't feel so alone in coping with it. Bullying and gaslighting are a way of life for some people these days in many industries. Dark triad personalities are celebrated in some organizations; they never really show their full colours to the higher ups. It's just a reality of life.
My sister experienced workplace bullying from her boss who would pick on her and target her for no reason. It’s disgusting.
I am so sorry to your sister. It means she was awesome. I'm currently the victim of the same abuse, yet I quit 4 months ago. Please hug her and tell her how amazing she is.

Workplace bullying is a covert form of psychological abuse, where the perpetrator's aim is to undermine the victim's personality and ambition. The target is often blindsided, and only realises what was happening to them when it's too late.
Abusers NEVER stop abusing. If it isnt you, itll be someone else.

I was severely bullied by my principal. It was horrible. I was in such a state of anxiety. I'd go home and cry most days. I'm glad to be away from that.
No one wants to stop an adult bully. So they get away with leaving psychological, financial, and spiritual damage. It's hard to shake that kind of stuff off because adults dont want to talk about it. How do people who get bullied as adults get over it then?

I agree! Adult bullies are worse than kid bullies. Adults are suppose to be grown and know how to treat people.

Yes, I have been bullied at work. Ridiculed, it destroyed me the constant sneaky comments, files hidden, then asked where isuch files were., and so much more.
My heart goes out to her I know what this feels like it’s terrible. I thought I was was done with the hate, but as an adults people are just as mean.
Sorry but adult bullies need to be exposed it’s a form of narcissist… sadly this is a mental illness and I’ve experienced this….. don’t doubt myself expose these people because there everywhere and move forward as best you can
No bully is ever at peace within, they're cursed to leveraging their own energy from others.
They're punished by their own conscience
I experienced workplace bullying from a colleague I had also thought was a friend. I still feel incredibly angry and betrayed by this individual. A consummate gaslighter, and quite sadistic, few people actually know what I went through. I eventually stood up to him and have barely seen him since. I still feel stirred up though when I think about what I allowed him to get away with.
Usually, the ones with power are the ones who bully.
My experience has left me with a paralyzing fear of working around others, so I have been unemployed for seven months at this point and it has destroyed my relationships at home as well as our financial situation. I’m losing everything simply because I didn’t know to document
Got hit by a car when i was three, tormented to the brink of suicide before i was 10, and sadly for lots of people, growing up and getting over their animalistic aggression are two completely different things, they basically know what noises to make at the right times to isolate their target and manipulate those around their target. It could be worse though, theres been a solar eclipse and the Aztecs havent been lining up thousands of people to be beheaded in order to make the sun rise in the morning

Years ago, in college, a friend of my roommate's used to come by and say mean things about her housemate, whom I'd never met. Months later the housemate took her own life. It was the first time I'd ever heard of someone killing themselves. It was an instant education on the power of small cruelties. The girl needed a friend and instead got a monster.
It is our duty to defend

I wish her the best i am getting bullied aswell now since 6Years and it doesnt stop. They think its funny they isolated me and love to see me alone.

I was told that I am being singled out, that I need to grow a spine, that CZcams does nothing about bullies while being told to shut up.
It must be that much more difficult to change jobs in the UK, if that's where you are located, and to sue. The abuse was sick.
That’s exactly what they do .. they want you to take on that toxic energy and carry it home .. misery loves company .
They set me up in job s to be targeted my sons best friend made suggestion I was abused called names suffered strokes the targeting started in last house barber jobs walked away wanted to commit susside take my life my family gaslight me years now I stay alone only really in contact with one family member 🤨been gaslight watched on this also my house rigged phone also
She didn't care I was charging my electronics there before she had a bad day and lashes out at me and broke my electronics on purpose ripping them out of the wall
