I believe they have similar gun laws like Japan so being able to get a gun is super rare. That's why you never see thugs in these K-drama's carrying guns which is cool because you get dope fights

That is why these types of action martial arts movies and shows won't work in the US for the most part. If they tried to do it, I would just think "why don't they just shoot them already?"

The main character (Woo Do Hwan) really knows how to box in real life, and of course trained for this series.
In an interview to promote they both talked about how they fought for real too (like of course not with the intention to hurt each other to a bad point) but they hit each other fr and the last punch from woo do hwan in the ring fight was also an actual hit and the reaction to that hit was real too. He said it hurt and they had to make retakes. Woo Dohwan apologized the whole time because he felt sorry 😂
In Korean culture you respect those who are older but in the military if you were in the service earlier you get the respect regardless of age.

You guys said it doesnt make sense for them to destroy the restaurant if then she cant pay them,thats the point they dont want them to pay back the loans...cause if they cant pay the interest will rise and they will have a bigger debt to pay... This show is another Netflix masterpiece.
The end goal was to have all the tenets move out because they can no longer afford to pay rent due to the loan payments being too high. After which, another group buys up all the property cheap and redevelops it, so they can beautify the city and be able to charge higher rent. This was all being done to curry favor with the mayor, since the mayor wanted that part of the city to be redeveloped.
nah they just want the property doesnt really make any sense for them to just hold that debt over someone who clearly will never pay it, they just want them to move out so they can buy up the land cheaply

This was a refreshing pure action one. Had some questionable plot points but overall really good watch
The main girl who plays the adopted grand child got a DUI in real life and was forced out of the contract. That’s why the last 2 episodes plot changed. Apparently the director had to rewrite the last 2/3 episodes and was extremely stressed out.

This show had everything... Action, comedy, tragedy, but the story writing stood out the most to me to be honest... simple yet realistic...
The dynamic between the calm demeanor of Gunwoo and The overly exaggerated energy of Woojin was what made their friendship the highlight of this show
The thing about Korea is that they don't let them have guns. Best believe, if they did, this series would end real quick.
Very little crime an usually not violent, so they don’t really need them. Most of the police don’t have either.
Which is great for action movies cos you don’t need to jump thru hoops to “explain” why everyone’s hand fighting without guns lol

@@jay-k-hey6633 I believe they met for the first time for this show, but they actually had to train boxing before they started rolling so that's how they became friends really quickly, Dohwan has experience with action productions while Sangyi had none so Dohwan helped him with that. Both of them are homebodies and like similar things so it was easy for them to become friends.

I was watching a k-show where they show celebrities daily life kinda thing and through that i got to know that woojin the main character has never had any instant noodles or too much salty stuff for the past ten years because he was maintaining his body just in case he got a chance to act. He said that only five years ago he had started going to the gym before that he used to hike and thus in one his past work they edited out his muscles cause it was too much for his character (normally editing is done for increasing definitely of muscled but nope my dude had to edit and hide his muscles😂)

I forget that Roshi, Sheera, and Lupa are anti help people or do anything good out of the kindness of their heart. They rag on anybody who is genuinely good.
Since it sounds like you guys don't know there is a strict no gun policy in Korea about guns only the police can legally get guns other than that it's very hard to get a firearm in Korea.
You can of course illegally get firearms but even then that's hard if you don't have a lot of connections hence it would be very hard for gun-woo to get a firearm as he's a regular citizen.
P.s. as you watch you'll see there are practically zero guns besides 2-4.
The weapons they use vary from bats, knives, bow and arrows, crowbars and a lot of other varieties in weapons.
