- Wanted to say that I did go back and properly tighten the Lower Ball Joint Nut. I also decided to replace the Axle Nut Cotter Pin after the installation and filming the video. When I removed it I noticed that one of the sides was broken off, but I made no comment on it. As a matter of fact later in the video I mentioned that the cotter pins were "perfect" and that I would reuse both. When I bought the socket for the Lower Ball Joint nut I also went ahead and bought a new cotter pin to replace the broken one.

I like your video.. but dude up grade your tool box. Having the right tools makes all the difference
Nice video man, totally going to check out my axle since I'm changing my control arm.
Dude sounds like pauly shore , but thanks for the video bro
Nice video man will try hammer trick to replace my inner boat it's still ok but fluffy so I have to change it
Sroor9001 easiest way use a slide hammer will pop out in less than 30 seconds
ROTFLMAO !!! How not to separate a ball joint. Entertaining video though, gave me some good laughs.
I have the same car and when I’m trying to put the axel in there’s this metal bar going straight down or what it looks like but I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be there or if I messed up bad
Does the transmission have to be in neutral while doing this or does it not matter?
Great video. Is this similar to changing my Nissan Maxima?
what size was the axel nut i got a 2004 altima 2.5s what size axel socket do i need>?
2.5? Or 6 cl?
Hammer trick didn't work
Just change boot while it's attached to the gear
Nice video but MAN this whole thing looks so unsafe.....a little slippage of anything can do a lot of damage to your body......scary eh?
What’s the size of the axle nut? 36mm?
Exactly what I wanted to hear
Its 32mm
Brian Hildebrandt thanks Brian
No doubt just found out on my own
It is advised to replace the axel seal when you replace CV axels... They get worn in to the previous diameter... If new is smaller it may leak...
Mule tape or steel cable .. Wrap a couple times at splines of axle next to trans seal. Then run ends thru the opposite sides of the center hole of wheel rim. Tie or secure together giving you about 18 inches past rotor... Once secured swing wheel away from the axle.... Should pop right out
