Thank you
Hi Em, it's been a little while since seeing you, hope you are doing well. Your latest Vlog was really enjoyable, your answers brought more than one smile from me. Seems you really enjoyed it from the looks of it you were having a good time. So happy to see! Stay safe and well, keep your ongoing upbeat attitude and put that bottle of vodka on a shelf you can reach, LOL. Hope to see you back soon.
Hi, thank you so much! it was so fun making this video and I am trying to get back to posting videos every week again. It has been a while. In this video I talk about it and say I am back guys! 😆

Great to see you back doing your blogs☺ your place looks great👍🏼
Thank you! Yeah trying to get back too posting videos every week! 😆
Great video Emily, had a laugh at the vodka being out of reach 😉
Looking forward to seeing what comes next 😊
Haha thank you, yeah I think some carer put my vodka out of my reach 🤣
Love your work. Might have to get the hubby to do one! 😘
Oh you should! And let me know, I’ll watch it 😁
Great Vlog Em, enjoyed a few giggles too lol
Thank you! Haha glad to hear it, was fun to make this video 😁
I happen to adore Gem Hubbard with wheels on heels she is one of the CZcamsrs I really like the best and also red happens to be a favorite color of mine. Also the wheelies are what I like about a wheelchair and not a wheelchair user that the device I would want for mine is a smart drive.
Yeah I have tried the smart drive but didn’t really work for me.
Gem Hubbard is awesome! 😁
Gem Hubbard's wheelsnoheels is a great page.
I ended up with a pressure sore from a gel cushion..even though I shift a lot and haul myself up, I guess it wasn't enough pressure sore protection, so I have a ROHO Mosaic.
I am amazed at your story because I too have 2 spinal cord injuries (I know you only have 1, but you hurt 2 vertebrates). With me, I have C4 and L4-L5. I know the spinal cord technically ends at L1, but mine is stretched because of a tethered cord...so it really goes to L2. My L4 and L5 and that disk are really messed up, but I guess those nerves are really affected, but they said the nerve damage affects the spinal cord. Do you understand how that can be? They said something about 'horse tail injury' (???)
I'm pretty sure they have manual chairs that stand. I need one that tilts...but I don't want a power one.
I also want to be able to climb stairs in a wheelchair...but I am on hp precautions, so I would need to climb the stairs while in my chair because a floor to chair transfer would make me break hip precautions.
I have reachers in every room and I plan on getting an extra duty, extra long quad tool reacher because I don 't have hand function anyway.
I never heard of a Klaxon before. 'Klaxon Klick: Power your wheelchair Klick is a motorized wheel that attaches to any manual wheelchair, helping you get around easily with very little effort. Travel more quickly, with more ease of movement and even greater mobility. This innovative addition is completely safe, compact and easy to install and transport.' In the states and England and Canada, they have a big wee wee looking thing on the back of a chair called a smart drive. I think it's controlled by a watch.
I hate that I'm the 13th person to like this video.
It is a great page 😊
I have never heard of horse tail injury but looked it up and came up with something called cauda equina which is along the lines of what you are saying. Is that right?
They do have manual chairs that stand but I just need one strong enough to be able to handle my spasms 😆
I tried out a smart drive but didn’t really suit me but the klaxon did 😁
@@EmQuattrocchiyes, that is right.
Oh by the way, where did you get the Klaxon Klick. I have been looking for something like that, but I have limited hand function and some others seem to need a lot of hopping around to hook on. The smart drive, I personally just don't like the looks. I know it's probably somewhere in Europe where you get it from, but how do you order it?
My OT did it for me, so my OT organised through equipment suppliers near me to trial different equipment and then which one I felt was best we ordered. That’s how it’s done here in Australia but I don’t know if it different in other countries.
@@EmQuattrocchi could you ask her how she ordered it?
Yeah, sure. I’ll let you know when I find out 😊
what is the name of your wheelchair
It's a TiLite wheelchair 😀
Did I somehow miss these?:
Second half of #3: "What's the model of your wheelchair?"
#10: "What's the best thing about being in a wheelchair?"
Oh I did the question what’s make of my wheelchair, didn’t say the model, and it is a TiLite. The answer I said to the best thing about being in a wheelchair is that I get to do wheelies, they are fun, I love them 😆
Hi do you want to drive a car again
Hi 😊 I do want to drive a car again but not straight away, I’m thinking of trying next year.
