Ohhhh! Infographics hmmm ~ haha thank you! It’s probably cause last year and a half I didn’t post regularly enough 🙈 . I’ll look into infographics! Thanks for the suggestion
Very helpful short video! Been brewing v60 for about 4 years now learning plenty of techniques and recipes but i never knew to look at the coffee bed to learn how to improve my cup. Thank you!
Thank you for this! I’m glad someone got to learn something from it! Yeah sometimes the bed signifies things, it’s nice to see and think about what’s going on!
Your tips to fix a muddy/clogged bed for my V60 were exactly what I needed. I was thinking it was related to grind size, but it was my pouring. Thanks!
I get this from the ek43 as well. Fines exist in all grinder it’s natural to the coffee actually. It’s how you pour that dislodges it. It’s a shame everyone just blames equipment 😝
I've been so frustrated with my kalita wave because it's such an aesthetically pleasing brewer + people say it's the 'easiest' brewer to use. yet for some reason it keeps clogging on me. This really speaks to me.
It is quite easy to use in theory I guess? But it can clog .. especially the metal one, the ceramic is much better apparently cause generally 2/3 holes are plugged by the filter but the ceramic one lifts just a little higher to prevent it. . Hope it helps you brew better coffee!
This is true, with the restricted flow rate it actually does help. Do you use the ceramic or plastic I heard there's a different flow rate oddly enough.@@supermanfaithfulll
Should help! If not send me more pictures on ig I can see better of how we can fix it! Generally it’s an under extraction issue, so make sure everything has sank!
Sometimes you just cant avoid it with some beans. I would suggest a good swirl on the table, and a few taps with the v60 on top the vessel until you see bubbles in the bed come up from bottom. Has yet to really fail me 👍
I don’t know how this channel isn’t more popular! I think some infographics might help your explanations.

Yesss! A lot of times we try to fix everything other than the pour itself, but it really is just in the pour! Glad I could help!
Learning a lot, very happy that this is very pourover focused. It's like a short cut through all the failed experimentation :)
Oh I’m glad it’s helping! Yeah trying to keep short videos with problems and solutions quickly to help people out.

Glad it’s working! 🙌🏼

Thanks tim for your support! I definitely will, trying to keep up the more frequent but smaller video posts! Really appreciate your support 🙏🏼
isnt the "muddy" comes from the fines particle that produced too much from the grinder ? well lets say if the grinder is not too good

Can you recomend some books about coffee?
You’re welcome! Hmm I don’t really get books for coffee wouldn’t know sorry! 🙈
Well I like the DRIFT magazines but it’s more coffee lifestyle then coffee itself
