When running any real estate business, the phone will be an important part of your life.
Even if you hate talking on the phone and choose to route your callers through a special voicemail message, your phone system will STILL be one of the primary communication tools you use to find new opportunities, follow up with leads, close deals, and make money.
If you’re going to be effective in the business world, you must have a reliable, efficient, cost-effective, and easy-to-use phone system that allows you to accomplish those essential, daily tasks every business owner needs to do. There’s just no way around it.
Even if your goal is to spend less and less time on the phone (as mine has always been), you still need the right infrastructure. If you haven’t already taken these steps, you’re probably working harder than you need to, or you’re not doing your best to manage your verbal communication with clients and customers.
We’re going to fix that right now.

Great video! We've recently made the switch from RingCentral to Thirdlane Multi Tenant PBX primarily due to the extensive customization options and exceptional support provided by Thirdlane.
Super helpful tutorial! Thank you!
Very informative. I love the video from beginning to end.
Great! Thanks for watching!
Very good video...thank you!!
How can you add the document to incoming calls please so that you can see the instructions of a business of what to say to the Caller? Many thanks your content is brilliant.
Excellent info and delivery!
Thanks, Russell!
Thank you very much for the video. Very informative!! BTW, you look like the guy from Arrow, Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen).
Thanks! You're not the first person to tell me that. :) I guess that's not a bad thing, right?
nice content. is it possible to set the auto call reply feature to send a custom link to the callers phone through sms?
Hi there Seth, what CRM do you use? And where you able to integrated with RingCentral ? Thanks
Thank you, this was helpful. We are considering this service for our customer support team, and there were some very negative reviews online recently. Can you comment on your experience with their customer support, call quality, and uptime?
Yeah, I've had some interesting interactions with their customer service as well. For the most part, I haven't had to call their customer service department because everything just works, but in some rare cases, if the issue is small., sometimes they can take care of the problem with a simple chat online. However, if it's a bigger issue (like setting up a desktop phone that won't work, or something on that level), that's where I've heard (and experienced) some issues. It's not that they can't take care of you, but they just aren't that great at communication, they're a little slow and it makes the process a little more frustrating than it ought to be.
Excellently explained
Thanks for watching!
HI Seth great video& very useful info-- as usual:0) .I am very interested in buying your master class a but I have a couple of questions..what is the best way to get them answered? Thank you In advance for your help & keep up the great work!!
Hey Matt, thanks for asking! You can contact us at support@retipster.club and we can help you out.
One last question! How can you keep your RC number from appearing as spam? This is a problem I have with my current plan. Every incoming call is shown as potential spam!!!! Thanks!!
I came here desperate for a business phone number and I got help. Thanks big bro. 🤗
YES! I'm so glad to hear that! Thanks for watching.
Really easy and nice directions thank u
Happy to help!
I was looking for a phone service for business number that also registered as with 411.
Hi Seth. From other articles on your blog, you've used Freedom Voice. Did you change vendors? If so, why? Thanks.
Hey Morna! I actually never left RingCentral, but I did do a review for FreedomVoice last year because it’s a bit less expensive than RC (for those who want to spend less money, I thought it was worth mentioning). I think FV is still a solid option, but their interface has some limitations and it’s also a little outdated. Either can work!
in your video you mention using a virtual assistant. i am a VA looking at using this for a few clients do i need to things different? i plan on having them each run their phones through this, not having me have all of these lines.
dm me on ig what u can do where u r and ur rate
Excellent
Thanks!
Hi Seth, thanks for the informative video. If I only purchase 1 phone number from RingCentral, can I set it up to ask a caller to press 1 to leave a meesage if they are interested in selling a lot or press 2 if they are interested in buying a lot and to leave a message?
Yes, that is possible! Account Executive here. We have plan that lets u set up your Auto receptionist.
Biggest question i have is…if your using your personal phone and its connected for the business line, does my personal text activity show up on the text msg history for admin to see?
Mine doesn't. All the texts through my RingCentral number only show up in the RingCentral app. Any texts through my personal phone show up in the native text messaging app. The two are not connected.
I think you are more knowledgeable than Ring Central is about their product! A couple of questions, what about answering an incoming call? How will I know it is coming from my RingCentral acct. May I sign up through you and also get the free trial? Thanks!
Thanks, Donna! When I get calls to my RC number, I hear an announcement when I pick up the phone, and I can press 1 if I want to answer it or just ignore it and let it go to voicemail (otherwise, if it was coming from my native phone number, I would just hear the caller on the other line as soon as I answered). Does that make sense?
سلام عرض ادب و درود بر شما 👍❤❤❤❤
For your set up how many numbers are toll free vs local?
I've currently got two toll-free and two local, but that's just me. You can do whatever you think makes sense for your business.
Could I receive calls through ring central for US company while working remotely from a different country as long as I have internet?
I believe so. I've never done it myself (because I'm in the US), but I think that's a common use case.
Do you know if the admin of the app can see deleted calls? Sometimes I delete calls that I don't answer and I'm not the owner of the line I just have the credentials , I'll get in trouble if they can see all the calls deleted hahaha.
I honestly don't know, sorry about that!
Can you use your original business number, or do you need an alternative number?
You can use either. I've ported existing numbers to RingCentral and created new ones. Just depends on what you need. Good luck!
Can I press any number on google and it can call directly for me. Or do I need to manually dial the number
You’re actually really pretty
Do you have to pay up front annually
If you choose the annual plan, yeah.
Link for the virtual assistant video?

Thank you!
Can calls be recorded
Yes
I don't think anyone uses fax anymore
my job does i work at an accounting firm
I subscribed for knowledge and tips, not sales pitches.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm sorry if it didn't come across the right way... just trying to show people what I use.
@@Retipster fair enough. I think it's a personal issue of mine. I apologize if I came across as rude or demeaning. I find many of the channels I subscribed to for learning have turned into advertisements or political commentators. I had found your channel months ago and was excited to learn about raw land investment and real estate strategies.
@@AberrantArt no problem. Good to hear your honest input either way. I'll keep that in mind in future videos.
It was very helpful to me. I appreciate you showing us the service this way. It answered all my questions.
Can we use this number for whatsapp?
