I was amazed that I got the 1st two correct.
Freya, you are so brilliant, it is like using harmonics to tune guitar. When the two strings have the same pitch you can hear them resonating as one
pitch, if the pitch for the two strings are off, you can hear the two pitches alternating two in a clear and unmistakable manner. Particularly when you use the “NA” the Nnnnn as a leading resonating lead to practice, it makes reaching the right pitch so much more easier. You are a wonderful teacher, I wish you are in US, I will come to you for personal instruction.

OMG I waiting so long to understand this. I wanna cry 😭. Will follow ur tips closely. TQvm dear Frey. I love to joined any event under Smule apps but most of the time will get NO ! Pitching issue. N now slowly get to know my voice range/colour/what pitch, focussing on support (especially breathing part) & understand the song, im getting more YES now from judges 😁. Wish me luck guys 🌹

I love your videos but one thing that puzzles me a bit is why I find it so much easier to copy your voice singing a note than the keyboard playing the exact same note. I have seen this quite a few times.
Possibly because I am a self trained singer with not much exposure to theory and technique and that often means I have learned by hearing voices rather than hearing instruments.
Something I need to learn to figure out and beat.
Singing on pitch is the most important thing
The more your pitch accuracy
The more you sing better.

Unfortunatelly after singing one song my throat hurts, my voice feels irritated, maybe something like a sore throat, but the doctor said that my throat is fine and that maybe I am doing something wrong when singing but I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

How to have steady air while singing?

When doing this I notice the muscle that spreads the lips pulls sideways. It hurts and it probably negatively influences my singing. I need to relax that muscle.
