Update since this is still getting noticed by people: eventually I got it, and I guess I can do even better now . Going for a more realistic art style lately so this tutorial wasn't for me after all haha

LMAO I also messed up at the 2nd one. Mine looks like a dude that got punched 30 times then got a deformed nose and didn't bother to go to the hospital to get it fixed xD

I always do the eyes like this
1.make a curved line
2. Make it thick
3. Add eyes (not touching the line, but rather a bit below)
4.shade eyes appropriately

I haven't draw in a decade, the 1st face took me like 2 hours to have a decent result while Mikey did it in 5 minutes, I'm still proud of myself as before following mikey tutorial my art was so bad. It's still bad but I'm imrpooving day by day thanks to these godlike lessons. Love you Mikey.

Edit: And for anyone interested since I never really had much success or patience with traditional anatomy - /watch?v=HawWkxpvPw4&t is the Sycra vid I'm referring to. Though, it might not be the best technique for everyone. Just another option.

I never realized how *EASY* drawing eyes can be if you follow the proper steps. I have been drawing for 2 years (not that long I know) and I didnt know that I drew the head wrong. I would never draw the proper guidelines and would always get confused on where the eyes, ears and mouths were. 10/10 would watch ur content again

i've drawn for a few years but never looked into guide lines of sorts, I've always found them really difficult to get right, (circles are my biggest enemy) watching and drawing along with this is the first time i've actually been able to use them, the first 2 faces i did came out terribly but the 3rd took a nice shape, should mention i'm drawing along digitally, with a tablet and drawing application, thank you for your excellent How To, you earned a sub, and i'll be watching the rest of your content over the next few weeks. Thank you!

I drew the first face..went terrible. Retried it and now it’s not bad.
Afterwards I just practiced my circles while he did the other faces. Im already improving. Happy to be drawing again

If here is okay, could you let us know about transitioning from traditional art to digital art? Any particular things we should change or pay attention to?
Pay attention to layers. Please pay attention to layers. If you forgot to change it before drawing the lineart on the sketch - you're f-ed...
@The Twilight Zone I absolutely hate shading, and for some reason I can't make eye highlights glow on digital art. I try to use some of the layer filters, but it doesn't work, and even without filters eye can't make them look shiny. It's a complicated mix of colors...
I find digital line art better because I am really bat at lining XD
For shading use more colored shading instead of black. You can put your shading layer in multiply to make it look more transparent and dark, and lower down the opacity.

A god has come back.....can you do another video on foreshortening again maybe less intense poses....like they can be all sexy as they want but less foreshorten
Foreshortening is really only difficult if you’re thinking in terms of 2 dimensions when drawing. Think of drawing 3D constraints and it should help with any type of pose.
What Mikey is using is the Loomis method of drawing so you can also just read Loomis’s textbooks to get a good understanding
Extreme foreshortening helps shatter those mental barriers holding us back

Personally you dont need a perfect circle, softly sketch a circle and keep layering it till its good enough
