It got trapped in a room and then appeared out of nowhere. Is there a time limit or was there a jump cut? It was shortly after he needed access to the bathroom and then moved it to the classroom across the hall. The door didn't close properly the firsttime and the next time she shows up, she is only/less than 3 feet away in another hall. Was it because of the vents the codex mentioned? I didn't see the vent mechanic in either playthrough I have seen so far.

I love that there was true work put into this game. 004’s game mechanic isn’t to just teleport when the player looks away, it actually moves. This is evident with the quick turns from the player and being able to see a slight movement of the dress or even what looks like an arm.
Overall, a really awesome game. It actually gave me a good scare :D
SCP-173 actually did move. They just move incredibly fast, so it appears to be teleportation to the naked eye.
I can't remember which one, but in one of Mark's first few SCP Containment Breach videos there is a point where you can slow the video down to see 173 moving. The comments will tell you what time.

Edit: Also, it appears that PC audio was being detected as mic input instead of the mic. So it caused odd behavior with the entity in level 3. There's an option to change audio devices in the settings menu.

28:38: here's some advice, clearly the first 2 floors had documents pertaining to all the entities you'll come across. So it makes sense to hold your departure of those floors til you obtain all the documents you can find. That way, you know what this thing does.

I've chosen mark's horror game playthroughs over others but now I actually prefer marks other big title games over others playing them as well due to lixians editing instead of just the horror ones 💜 I dont like watching the same games over and over unless the playthroughs are vastly different like Detroit become human.
I especially like the little bits he and Lixian have together and the big obvious warnings for possible bad things (flashing lights, loud sounds, etc)
Now I'm happy to watch older Mark videos, but I don't think I would've gotten into this channel originally without Lixian.

For what looks on the surface like an SCP clone, this game is amazing and goes far above and beyond what the SCP games have done. I so, so so so want to see more of this game.

@@ultimatetrashboy419 Depends on just how the game works. If it's using static levels that never change? Indeed, not too hard, particularly since the structures are simple (well, on the traditional yellow level at least, probably why there's so many of these). But this one? Contrary to popular belief, achieving actual good, functioning proc-gen is REALLY difficult. It's so easy to screw that up. Particularly when you've got fully mobile creatures that need to be able to navigate it without getting stuck or creating a situation that is impossible for the player to pass. This game seems to have had a ton of effort put into it so far. Of course, most Backrooms games are not exactly near this level of quality.
It's almost like people are creatively bankrupt and will just jump on the latest fad and ape it to death.

I love Mark's theme that if the monster can hear him he'll try to be as loud as possible and then wonder how the monster keeps finding him
An entity that moves at you when you can’t see it is literally the most terrifying thing to me.
This game seems really cool and fun, here are some similarities I've seen between parts of this game and other pieces of media:
A-004 is very similar in how it functions with SCP-173.
Entity 608 is very similar in design and mechanic with the Smiler from the backrooms wiki.
The documentation papers found are very similar to the SCP wiki.
The game looks very cool and is a very interesting mix between the documentation found in the SCP Foundation and the unknown found in the Backrooms, even if it is by coincidence.

I am typically not bothered by big jumps or loud noises or anything but there is something about the idea of someone following you and only moving when you look away or close your eyes that scares me SHITLESS. This is giving me the spooks.
