Hi Mari, love all the scenery there. I managed to visit New Zealand five times during the 1970's, but unfortunately, I never managed to visit either Te Anau, Milford Sound or even Queenstown. Hence, it was great seeing it all on this video. Anyway, wishing you the very best. Rob in Melbourne Australia.

I'm glad you're protecting the little man. Each of their days is precious beyond measure, and I had three kiddos who defined not only my life, but theirs.
It actually blows my mind that those videos were 6 years ago! I remember watching them as they were released and dreaming about going to New Zealand :) So fun to get to see y'all go back.

Nice seeing the Homer tunnel again and Milford sound again .But different weather when I was there year's ago. Was poring rain after doing the Milford track and couldn't see the top of Miter peak.
I think the weather is often like that! It felt very lucky to have sunshine

Very nostalgic video, love the road footage makes me homesick - enjoying your videos. Make the most of travelling without heaps of tourists, I know I am here in Victoria, Australia, and recently in Tasmania no tourist buses ,yay! It won't last so get out out there. Also videos th a t people want to see from you guys I guess are exactly what your doing- how to travel and do your hiking with kids.

The holiday park has lovely little chalets and apartments overlooking the lake. Me, myself and I and my Sprinter stay there in their powered site. Enjoy your breaks whenever you manage to get them!! Been into milford a couple of times since the borders closed- totally surreal without buses and campervans!

Wow, it's incredibly beautiful over there. The trails/national parks over there in NZ are on my to do list for sure, one day. I'm also always seeing vids about it being Foodie heaven over there, those tacos on the beach looks like absolute paradise 🤤🌮🏞️

@@mari.johnson Now I'm drawing a blank but I'll drop some links in the thread when I find something lol. One of them that I know of was on Dyana Carmella's channel, but yea NZ looks like one of the best food tour places ever. Kind of reminds me of Seattle's food scene but with way nicer weather😂

I’m definitely not anti-tourist! And I know so much of nz relies on tourism. I’m all for travel. However, it did feel like a treat to see Milford sound empty 😊
i appreciate that you guys prioritize protecting Baby's privacy. i struggle with this in my vlogs how much of my daughter's life to put online, especially since she's so young and doesn't really have a vote in the matter. it's a strong consideration for parents. anyway, good to see you guys!

Thanks for the video. My wife and I were in that area a few years ago. Loved Milford Sound and the surrounding area, but didn't like Queenstown so much...too touristy.
I think a nic name / trail name for your little one is great idea. You could call him North as he was born and is from the North Island.
