My friend and I did a taste through of all five Hardins Creek (not the 2 yr). We both felt the the two Jacob’s Well were clearly the top 2 and preferred the first batch. But both are fantastic.
I just picked up the 17 year Hardin’s Creek Clermont at the beam distillery, if you’re ever there the Clermont, Frankfort, and Boston are all there for $35/200ml bottle. Can’t wait to try it.
Just picked up a backup bottle of the batch 2. Both are very good. I enjoyed that Beam came out with a batch 2 but I’m looking forward to seeing if they come out with a batch 3 or something similar later this year.
