Mini Sylvanian Families

Nostalgia alert! 🧸 Who remembers Sylvanian Families or Calico Critters? Fun fact: Epoch Toys introduced Sylvanian Families in 1985. In 1993, they were rebranded as Calico Critters for the U.S. market. These adorable critters are still hugely popular in Japan!I stumbled upon these mini cuties at a doll show. I don’t know anything about them. I purchased them at a doll show. I tried looking them up and couldn’t find where they came from. 🤷🏼‍♀️

These are cute! Very interesting that they are Japanese(?) as Sylvanian families are British? Okay, no, just googled them, and they started in Japan and then went to the Uk.

@@melangellperry5984 I never knew that they started in Japan. My very first dollhouse was a Sylvanian family house with a little rabbit family back in the 80s. I wish I still had it! Now I need one of these miniature ones!
