The brief amount of time the jury was out, tells me one thing. They sat down, did a vote, everyone agreed unanimously on the first vote, so 98% of the time was spent filling out the documents and eating dinner.

The victims and their families won't receive total justice until she is indicted, prosecuted, convicted, and sentenced for being an accessory.

76 charges, the jury deliberated for 3 hours. That's 2 minutes 20 seconds deliberation per charge, or about as long as it would take for everyone to say 'guilty' and for the foreperson to sign the verdict sheet.
I hope the county can provide therapy to those jurors who need it. Serving on a murder trial jury is difficult. This horrendous crime took a toll on these folks.

The brief amount of time the jury was out, tells me one thing. They sat down, did a vote, everyone agreed unanimously on the first vote, so 98% of the time was spent filling out the documents and eating dinner.
76 decisions between 12 people in 3 3/4 hours. Yeah. They spent less then 3 minutes per charge. Darrell brooks spit so much hate and anger at everyone, which showed the jury that he is a violent, narcissistic psycho. Darrell dug his own grave.

Was anyone else expecting him to have a full-on screaming, raving, “tranq him and haul him away in a straitjacket” meltdown when he was found guilty? I was surprised he was quiet. I guess he’s overwhelmed with shock that he doesn’t just get to go home with zero consequences after all this.
Seems to me as the verdicts got read out, he was basically forced to come to the realization that this was 'it' and he would no longer be able to try and talk his way out of this. He slowly started coming to terms with knowing he would be spending the rest of his life behind bars. I don't think he was thinking about anything else other than that. No remorse for anyone but himself.
The more judge read off each account the more reality sat in the harder he forced his hands against his forehead! Sobering reality started sinking in nothing else he was going to say to badger judge, witnesses, prosecutors....just his demise!

How many charges is Darrell Brooks guilty of?
Jury: Yes.
76 charges. He will spend the remainder of his life in prison. They made the right decisions. He really needed an attorney even though I really don’t see how the outcome would differ. The only thing they could have done to help him was negotiating a deal to soften the blow but I doubt he would have accepted a deal because he’s a classic narcissist incapable of accepting responsibility for his behavior.

the judge deserves all the good things in the world just for reading 76 verdicts out loud. truly an admirable work from her and the court throughout!
Gotta love how he had to sit there for about 30 minutes and hear how every single juror didnt buy what he was selling - one by one, and he couldnt say or argue and obfuscate a single thing.
"my conscious is clear" Is the worse thing he could have said. Even if it was an accident who's conscious would be clear after taking the lives of 6 people and injuring so many others.

My thanks to the prosecution team for all their hard work and patience during the trial and putting them truth in Darrells face.
My humble thanks to this jury for your diligence in this case. Thank you for your patience of having to be removed from the room so often due to Brooks behavior. Thank you for giving these victims justice.

Brooks is exactly where he belongs.
A side note.
I got a chuckle when he asked that the electronic ankle collar be removed for sentencing.
He jumped bail twice already. What was he thinking?

It’s unfathomable what these families have gone through and then have to endure this painful process. He will get life without parole and never be heard from again.
So it turns out that stare-downs, sovereign shenanigans, building forts, and other nonsense will not keep him from paying the piper. I'm sure this is bewildering for him, since he seems to have never been held accountable in his life before.
As if anyone thought this would take days or weeks or that he wouldn't be guilty.
Regardless of his actions during the commission of the crime he absolutely sealed his fate trying to represent himself. Though he likely would've been found guilty regardless.

Just before this video began, DB actually asked if his “shock” shackles could be removed. That fool actually thought he’d walk out of there a free man. That creature is a true monster. He is the live “boogeyman” in the nightmares of those children he rode over. No child should have to endure that type of pain and terror. He acted so quiet during this video. Of course, we all remember how he acted during the victim statements. Rolling his eyes, clapping his hands, motioning for them to wrap up their statements…..no remorse for any victim. He can talk about his belief in God, carry his bible but no one that knows God would ever act that way. He is not mentally ill. He is a truly evil creature.

The defense attorney gave me the death stare when our verdict was read and we were polled. We were out 5 days. I’m sure she thought it was going to be not guilty.

76 charges, the jury deliberated for 3 hours. That's 2 minutes 20 seconds deliberation per charge, or about as long as it would take for everyone to say 'guilty' and for the foreperson to sign the verdict sheet.
I hope the county can provide therapy to those jurors who need it. Serving on a murder trial jury is difficult. This horrendous crime took a toll on these folks.

@@curtconn8149 I pray 🙏 in this instance the counseling already helping community, will extend counseling care to jurors. The judge needs a break at a spa. She dealt w him while pregnant. Probably dreaming of a stiff drink daily. Actually imo she is a fierce woman. A force to be reckoned in a courtroom. He will get auto appeal- denied . No mistrial for him. Her patience, while seemingly appeared weak . Judge Darrow assured that there will be no mistrial. She put honor above her personal feelings.
He was obviously let down by his lawyer ... oh, wait.
