I have the Mikame version but great to se that version in action that mimics the original. Lovely looking prop! Can the speed of the rise be adjusted at all? Thanks for sharing!
Hi John - I always thought this was much nicer than the Mikame one. And the speed can certainly be adjusted. You have to be careful however as you can get in the situation that the coin doesn't fully disappear. But if you spent some time with the prop I'm sure you could come up with the optimal speed that you are looking for. I think for a live performance you could easily make it twice as slow.
I really like these old props, and especially with your performance, thank you Andy for sharing.
Thanks Damir - I really like these old props too. This is a wonderful effect for sure, and made perfectly by Douglas-Wayne.
Great item. It’s on my to do list to build it myself with … Lego 😊
Thanks Rob - there seems to be nothing you can't make in Lego! Glad you liked it. Thanks for commenting.
