  • This brick wall on a residence in Richardson, TX had a couple of holes in the mortar where a new colony of bees made it's home. Luckily since it was a new hive they were fairly docile. We were able to smoke them out of their hive, vacuum them up with our specialized bee vac, and re-home them in our apiary!

Try “honey robber”….when the queen comes out…cage her…all the others will follow….don’t smoke them….

Smoke will not do it, as someone below noted. Using “honey robber” and other such aids ten to do somewhat better but

Aren’t there bees left inside or do they all come out when you smoke them ?

Has the Queen come out? And how can you vacuum the bees without hurting them?

There’s lots of ways to drive them out…or even make something to where they can’t find their way back in….but smoke won’t do it…

If no-one in household is allergic why not leave them alone? I'd simply invest into warning sign.

I've had bees in my house hole (wall )(brick) the internet told me that they will be gone by the end of July
    " which is correct "
but they have blocked the hole up with something
and a random bee came down a couple of days later and within a minute it was dead so what have the bees blocked the hole up with ?
I have looked on internet but nothing is coming up what
I would like to know .

I find a gallon of petrol and a lighter usually works for removing bees.

You must be new. Smoke doesn’t drive them out. It drives them in.

Negative, learn a little cause they run into the hive to get what they’ve gathered to get out. They think the hive or surrounding area is on fire so they leave. But once they leave they tend to figure out the area isn’t on fire and come back because they still can smell the queen pheromones after the smokes goes
