The speed is due to 2 reasons. The CPU and the RAM speed. Single core performance of 2,800 according to Geekbench 6. That competes with workstations (portable supercomputers). The RAM speed is 8,448 MHz per second. That is currently the fastest in the tech industry for RAM. Makes multi-tasking super fluid.
Thanks for the comment - I'm really appreciating the snappiness. It's a pleasure to use as long as you aren't doing anything too intensive (photo & video editing).
Thanks for the frank comments -especially about usability with photo/video editing!
Ya. I was a little disappointed, hoping the software is optimized or the next version has a stronger GPU more capable of these these types of workflows.
Great video and I can see how amazing the SD X Elite is.
Great review! And lovely home!
Thanks! it's one of those homes that I look for an excuse to spend time in (open houses, videos like this.., etc..).
So are you going to return the Surface Laptop 7? Why?
Clear review
Thanks for the feedback!
great video man! Just try to look at the camera more
Thanks for the feedback..., I'll certainly give that more attention on the next video.
I've read that the Surface Pro 11 OLED screen produces grainy or somewhat fuzzy text instead of the normally sharp text on the screen. What is your experience with the OLED screen?
I have not encountered that. Text looks great!
Can he do a review with his shirt off? 😂😂🎉
I see no point in having the Bluetooth keyboard instead the standard one, if I attach a monitor to it, I’ll want a standard sized Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. The only case would be someone that wants the screen far away from the keyboard but there are very few that need it. Let’s see the sales.
I had a SP8 and it’s great but the extra price is of no worth, too big for a tablet, on your legs less comfortable than a laptop. The only use case would be for designers/creatives that draw and in that case, this is a must because the Surface Laptop 7 supports no pencil.
I too was anticipating it to be a gimmick but like I said in the video, it's turning out to be quite useful. I'd say that even when using it as a normal computer, I probably use the surface with the keyboard NOT attached more than attached.
@@shinynewgadget5163 it may be but I sold mine, not really into it..
It’s funny my surface pro 7s keyboard stopped being recognized (I know the keyboards work), so I’m used an Bluetooth keyboard. I’ll have to using it at a distance.
Giving android capabilities to window may solve the puzzle.
You should be selling 2nd hand cars or realestate.............oh, wait a minute.
You caught me..., did the sportcoat or my rambling give it away?
So are you going to return the Surface Laptop 7? Why?
Can't justify keeping both and I like the surface pro better, mostly due to the tablet/keyboard setup. I also prefer the OLED on the pro, even though the laptop has a very nice sharp LCD.
