Since I’ve done an episode about Famous Anime Characters on the Suicide Squad, I figured it was fitting for me to do another where I put some into the Marvel Universe! Also, I’ve been looking for a good excuse to use characters from Chainsaw Man and Spy x Family because subscribers have suggested those two me and they are both great!!!
In this episode, I start by making Denji from Chainsaw Man into a venom symbiote sort of character who gets his powers while on the hunt for symbiotes for The Hand. Then, I turn Mirko from My Hero Academia and Vigilantes into a underground fighting character who comes up against Spider-man while he is in his early days as well. Next, I take Anya from Spy x Family and have her be the adopted child of the fake family that is Hawkeye and Black Widow while on a mission in Budapest. Finally, I draw Vegeta as a Kree Prince in the midst of the Kree Skrull war who goes to earth to get the Infinity Gems before coming up against the Kree traitor Captain Marvel.

Chainsaw Man/Venom is a perfect combo. X-Men/My Hero Academia are also a good match (was the name “Tiger Bunny” a reference to the anime “Tiger & Bunny”?).

Also, The Thunderbolts are basically Marvel’s counterpart to the Suicide Squad.

Oh right hahaha forgot about Tiger Bunny, but its actually the name she gave herself in the MHA spin off comic Vigilantes, thats where I took most of the ideas for her story from 😁

cause there is the anime Tiger & Bunny, which is in of itself an homage to American superheroes in the same way as My Hero Academia and One Punch Man, alto Tiger & Bunny does predate them both

I don't know if you got something planned for Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey, but just in case, can you draw Disney Movie Villains as either Horror Story, Xenomorph, or Superheroes?
And can you include either Chernabog, Maleficent, or The Headless Horseman?

The way you combined the stories was so incredibly clever! especially Chainsaw Man and Anya, using Symbiotes instead of the demons and Barton and Natasha's relationship respectively was just amazing. And Anya's outfit is my favorite of this episode. 10/10 episode.
I think you're right! And thank you!!!! I was super happy with this episode! And I was ona roll this week so Monday's coming up is really good too I'd say (though not quite as good as this one, because this episode set a very high bar hahaha)
I like the idea that when Mirko sees Spider-Man for the first time she’d go "Hey it’s the guy whose ass I kicked!" and they’d become really good friends after their first team up.
Also, I really want to see you make a Lantern Corps story. Like 'Famous Anime Characters' as Lanterns and there’d be a single drawing per Lantern corps and whatnot. Would probably have to be a two or three parter and all but still. Maybe the finale could be a Blackest Night kind of event where all the drawings are apart of a big story.

Thank you so much! I probably wouldn't have used mirko if she didnt have that cool backstory elements to work with! in MHA she doesn't get enough play or background to work with, but her vigilante stuff made her fit PERFECTLY in with Spidey's backstory!!!

I'm glad you changed Vegeta's outfit to at the last second. It kinda fits the story, similar to how Captain Marvel changed her colors after going on her own Vegeta changed his costume colors too.
I knew I was in for a treat when I saw that thumbnail with Chainsaw Man with the distinctive symbiote look, and I was far from disappointed, especially with that mental image of Denji tearing into Carnage (definitely my favourite for this video). I also really liked the drawing and story for Vegeta, especially with the fact that, as opposed to his fight with Goku, his battle with Captain Marvel wasn’t even close. I’m also glad that you decided to change his clothing’s colour from green to blue to better match his OG attire, I personally think it looks better. Overall I loved all the drawing and all the stories! Keep up the stellar work!
Today is Day 28 of me requesting Shovel Knight characters as dragons.
If you want suggestions, perhaps some Suicide Squad stuff?
Like for example Anne from Amphibia (arrested sometime after her return to Earth at the start of season 3), Star Butterfly from Star vs the Forces of Evil (arrested for her attempt to destroy all magic in the multiverse), El Tigre (his flip-flopping between hero and villain having caught-up to him), or Koala Man (taken in after he took the blame for starting the 2nd Emu War at the end of episode 7).
PopCross Studios. You’ve exceeded my expectations. This episode was sheer ecstasy for me!!!
The adaptions for each character were seamless and perfectly fit their respective themes: from hunting vicious Symbiotes for Denji, to skilled agents Hawkeye and Black Widow forming a family with Anya, to Vegeta being a Kree hunting after the Infinity Gems (a mirror of the hunt for Shenron’s Dragon Orbs), to Mirko getting tangled up with illegal fighting rings (and Spider-Man in his early days)! The fitting transitions also tie into some excitingly awesome visual designs for the adapted characters, each with their own lovely highlights.
Chainsaw Man
The off-white and black body with Venom-symbol tie (an element previously seen on The Symbiote Who Laughs, which is fitting for this symbiotic adaption), and the jutting razor-edged chainsaw blades with stray goo flying everywhere that perfectly conveys his manic energy.
Mirko
The purple body suit with criss-crossing yellow-black stripes, broken up by white and flame yellow areas on the chest, toes and fingers. It’s practically popping with beautiful visuals, and the barley-yellow fur collar is the cherry on top.
Anya
A cute chocolate-brown dress with pops of red and black, paired with gold trimming and golden yellow segments at the cuffs and end of the dress. The stylised “A” insignia which leads into a small opening at the end of the dress is a very cool detail. And of course, the cute head horns in brown and gold with Anya’s signature telepath sparkles.
Vegeta
A Kree/Saiyan outfit adaption made aesthetically lively by dark blue segments popping with baby blue and teal highlights, balanced by well-placed sections of golden yellow on the arms, legs, shoes, and upper chest.
Really Love how you took inspiration from Mirko in vigalanties for the design. I would love to see you draw the characters vigilantes as well like knuckle duster, No. 6, Pop step and koichi

On Chainsaw Man: Interesting look if he was bonded with a symbiote.
Miruko: Nice costume. Would count as an alternate one like how most heroes change their looks.
Anya: Though not sure if possible, still earns a "Waku waku!"

WOOO! I'm trying to get Anime going on this channel a bit more again. Since the early days when MHA was a big part of the channel I haven't been able to do much in terms of anime that tons of people were into, but I LOVE anime and think there is so much potential for great episodes with it as a topic!
i'm kinda surprised that tayrun and kayla actually haven't yet had a narrator tale to themselves, it's only been the beast chronicler multiversal tales or the one where they almost got killed by a fluffy mushroom skeleton, squid, and medusa's fan generated child.
Here are some more suggestions:

This was incredible. I've been a fan of your superhero/villains themed videos since they always have great designs as well as interesting stories to share, and I've been a huge anime fan since forever because...its anime, enough said. So seeing you turn some famous anime characters into Marvel Superheroes is incredible. I especially loved Denji's and Miruko's designs the most. Denji's gives off that fercious monster look to him that's ready to defend its turf while at the same showing others that he's someone that shouldn't be underestimated...plus I love how he still maintains its instantly recognizable and iconic look and I love how you made him look more Venom like in appearance since Venom is amazing, Miruko’s gives off a brawler/mma fighter look that's willing to fight the good fight and shows that the hearth of courage can lead to greatness...plus I love how she rocks the luchador look as well as looking great with the amazing combat suit, Anya's design gives off that feel of a mysterious and fearsome kid prodigy that's willing to show everyone why you shouldn't underestimate someone adorable...plus I really love her hero look since it adds a sense of incredible might to her, Vegeta's design gives off that feel of a powerful galactic warrior that while looking terrifying in nature can be a quite loyal and faithful companion...plus I don't know why, but for some reason this design with the blue and gold just seems to work. This was an amazing video with a new topic...and I like it. I'd love to see you turn some more famous anime characters into Marvel Superheroes since I think there is still so much more to tell. I'd also be ok with seeing you do a video on drawing some famous anime characters as either kaijus, different kinds SCPs, Superheroes or as mech/fantasy armours, since I think that would be pretty interesting...plus if its the case for armours, I think Benny and Vasilia would have a blast, and it would be fun to see Benny and Vasilia come up with armour ideas based on some of these powerful creatures and perhaps even work on a joint project and make a fantasy-mech armour hybrid. For other ideas for using other famous anime characters as superheroes, I'd suggest using Shikamaru, Tokoyami, Erza Scarlet and Ragna Bloodedge since they all have amazing lore and incredible designs for their characters. I also can’t wait to see how Mara’s story continues in the multiverse tales episodes. Great job as always Christian and I can’t wait to see what you draw on Monday’s video.
P.s. do you think you could do a video of turning dinosaurs into mech armours? Cuz I want to see how Benny Sharp and Champagne McGregor would get along. Also do you think you could do a video we’re you turn Disney princesses into witches. Also could you try something with Apex Legends?
P.s.s. Do you think its possible to return to drawing famous characters/superheroes as Mandalorians again. Since The Mandalorian season 3 will be arriving soon, it would be nice to see this series return since it was another one of my favourite series that you did.

You should definitely save some for those as Supervillains. Once you also complete that, you should try Experiments in Lilo and Stitch as Characters in One Piece. Because both Monkey D. Luffy and Stitch have at least one weakness what they have in common. W A T E R !

The other aliens could be x men or brotherhood of mutants and you would have the chance to throw some of your cool artistic flair in with it as well

3. Anya is absolutely adorable and her little costume makes her even cuter. Though, I wish you had included Loid and Yor in the story. But I like Clint and Natasha, so I'm cool with it.

This was overall a pretty nifty episode. If you want to keep on track with anime based stuff, you should do an episode of turning famous memes into super saiyans.

- waluigi: super saiyan waaa

I will once again be presenting an idea for TMNT as SCPs
One might expect Agent Bishop in this AU to be a member of the Foundation, but I instead propose he be used as a member of the Global Occult Coalition, who are famous for actively destroying SCPs if they’re deemed dangerous instead of wasting time money and resources researching them, which would absolutely fit with Bishop’s MO of “Kill all Aliens”
Obviously I’m referring to the original Bishop and not the weird Krang Bishop the 2012 series did for whatever reason

Thank you so much! And surprisingly this wasn't one of the more time consuming episodes! Whats nice about Marvel and DC episodes is I know the worlds so well that I often can write the stories quickly as long as I can learn about the anime I'm working with fairly quickly 😁 In this case I was actually watching some of the shows so it came to me quick!
Now THIS is a great way of implementing anime characters into Marvel/DC! I hope to see more episodes like this and I seriously hope you bring JoJo into one of them!!

This is definitely one of my new favorites of your videos, I already love all the videos where you put characters in marvel and dc but this one with all awesome characters (minus Vegeta cause I really have no care for dragon ball, but the lore and art for him was still fantastic) drawn beautifully with awesome lore! Woooo I love this episode and I also love chainsaw man I’d love to see some more superhero-ized characters from the series in this video. Maybe more hybrids like Samurai Sword, Reze or Quanxi venomised because it’s such a clever idea

Ooh, actually I got an idea for a concept. What about turning characters or fears into Devil-hybrids (or fiends) from Chainsaw man (i.e. Chainsaw man himself, Katana man...)? Think that'd be fun for you to do.

I have a few suggestions that could be considered if your interested. Another repost.
- Motorcity characters as Tron programs, I consider Tron uprising and Motorcity sister shows that were spectacular.
- Ben 10 villains x One Piece Villains fusions, ideas like Ma Vreedle x Big Mom, Vilgax x Kiado, or Aggregor x Blackbeard.
- Motorcity cars as transformers, The cars designs and styles were sick.
- Disney XD character fusions, the shows from that network could use more spotlight.

Awesome work yet again, Christian! Here are some other anime characters I'd love to see in a future follow-up, should you make one:
1) Guts from Berserk as a Ghost Rider
2) Natsu Dragneel as a sorcerer potentially adopted by one of those alien dragons like Fin Fang Foom
3) Nami from One Piece as a victim of Lemurian pirates blessed with the power of Thor (she doesn't have the hammer, though, just her staff)
4) Froppy as a mutant and X-Man (perhaps have her look more froggy)- I know, she's one of your favourites.
