Looking at their statistics thus far: *Dak Prescott* has been nothing short of phenomenal...his completion percentage was 78.0% (39 of 50) for 454 yards with 5 touchdown passes, 2 rushing touchdowns and no interceptions. *Carson Wentz,* however hasn't fared as fortunately...his completion percentage was 50.0% (12 of 24) for 89 yards with no touchdown passes, and 1 interception along with 1 fumble. Simply going by the numbers, it's evidently clear why certain people seem to be more optimistic about Dak Prescott's chances in comparison to Carson Wentz. You couple that with the circumstances in which they became starters...Dak Prescott was named the starter right after the severity of Tony Romo's injury had been revealed. Since then, Prescott has had significantly more time prepare and more snaps with the 1st string offense in comparison to Carson Wentz. In fact, prior to the Sam Bradford trade, Wentz talked about _red-shirting_ his first year to become more acclimated to the speed and style of play in the NFL. The Philadelphia Eagles organization's decision is perplexing to me. Why not start Chase Daniel and allow Carson Wentz to not only heal from his fractured rib injury but to also accrue more experience with the 1st string offense before playing in an actual game? I hope I delineated enough as to why the perception of Carson Wentz starting is vastly different with that of the perception with Dak Prescott starting.
