Adam is an excellent driver I would say! I don't think he needs long. That give way sign is a tough one. Also his grandad is awesome. Grandparents are a gift we don't deserve!

I watch Canadian ones...and live in UK..Watched one ''by accident'', then realised it was different side of road, but the Instructor was good..so watched a few.
Roads in Canada are so different to UK...more ''grid like'' and wider, and not such narrow, twisty tight turns.

Last week I've failed my test due to light mistakes. No serious problems. In my country we have very high standards, even higher than in GB. The examinator was extremely rude and very passive aggressive even before the exam started. My native language is not German, and you could hear an accent coming through. My dad was with me also. The examinator was pretty negative towards him too. After the drive, he asked us to get out of the car and told me that I've failed in very ignorant way. He started his monolog like: "There's even nothing to discuss here, you've failed". In literally 20 seconds he quickly told my mistakes and left with a harsh "auf wiedersehen" =(goodbye).
I really like the way you handle the situations, even if the student fails. They don't seem to be scared and get professional feedback from your side. I wish that could be in every country.

my test is way different all i had to do was go to a stop sign and he asked me what way the wheels face when you parallel park and i was done

I have my test this coming Friday. I am using your videos to revise and to see what others tent to do that causes them to fail. So I can make sure I don’t do the same mistakes ☺️
Iv been learning since Jan/ Feb! Originally my test was booked for August, but had to cancel due to my instructors personal circumstances. I started off with 1 lesson a week, for a couple of month. Then went to 2 lessons a week for a couple of month, then 1 a week, to recently back to 2. Iv missed a couple due to circumstances but iv had so many lessons!
I Even had weekly lessons 2 year ago and took a year out. Iv been out with family and friends as well. So iv loads of experience but still adamant I will fail 🙈

U don’t only have to watch these to learn lol, I passed the Friday before Christmas, oh well because I enjoy watching their mistakes. But it’s not because I want to laugh. It’s because learning to drive in a driving test is different to learning to drive in the real world

Once you understand the basic verbal instructions a Sat Nav gives you. Then you need to familiarise yourself with where on the unit the reducing yardage is displayed. Many give an overall basic turn icon plus one and a half miles or whatever until turn. As soon as it calculates 800 yards this displays then reducing figures appear as you move. You get to know when the first verbal is heard to WAIT A WHILE then look at the correct part of the unit for a low figure. This needs integrating into the observation for road, road signs, mirrors etc. cycle. This is simply to identify the correct turn and only requires ONE QUICK GLANCE in most cases. Then you can look at the map display to see if extra roads appear ahead of yours and on complex junctions a basic layout if you need to and compare that with road signs observed. In the video here a major Sat Nav problem occurred at 13.28 onwards. Sat Nav said "after 200 yards keep right" there are four lanes and the unit was trying to get you to choose one of the two to the right. (on test would be the left of the two). Then Sat Nav said misleadingly to turn right at the roundabout second exit. This is inconsistent with road sign at 13.53. Test routes will tend to avoid this level of complexity and examiner would help out a bit so listen to him/her also.
I hate yards - they are so confusing!
I thought Adam did pretty good just some things to work on but I’d feel safe with him in the car any day.

Driving manual is more fun imo. Keeps you more alert knowing that you have to constantly be doing things while you’re driving and gives you more control over your car.
