- This video is honest review of my Timsun tubeless tires after 19500 km of use. I bought Timsun Tires in August 2018 and used them for tours. Only got 1 puncture in this tenure however my experience with them was not great after 10,000 km.
I have recommended Timsun to many people before this happened to me. Purpose of this video is to share my experience with you so you can make better decision about Timsun Tires.

This is good review. But one thing I noticed in rear tyre is flat middle section. Hamari road is type k pattren k liy suitable nai hain. At least center ma groves lazmi hn rear tyre k. Aor front 620 I used it 19000km until it burst due to big metal piece on road destroyed it. I feel 620 is the best tyre in pakistan as front with disk brakes. Exceptional grip on our roads. Compared to stock local tyres.
Thank you for your appreciation brother. This was a road type tire and and before 10000 km it performed very well. I shared my experience and experience of others. I respect your choice. which tire are you using currently and in which motorcycle.

MashaAllah detailed review iam also ex-user of timsun tyre ts829 100/90 18 after 6000 km tyre is rubber became hard day by day last 12000km tyre is slipping whenever I applied to break bike skit one side thousand of times I checked my alignment and air pressure is 34 psi . after 20000km I changed my tyre to stock tyre again alhamdulillah satisfied with original tyre performance no slippery no hard suspension

After so much research i get timsun. Now after get these tyre get this video that timsun isnt good. Means i loose 15k

Can you please share what was the size of your tyres ? Did you use 110/90-18 for rear ? and can it be used in Honda CBF 150 without any problem ?

@@TamourTahir around 1year ho gaya hai... Time nahi mila replace karane ka i know k pare pare bhi kharab ho jata hai... The camera quality was looking a little suspicious that's why i asked looks sharp and stable..but color scheme was a little different than gopro
Max 5 year is the time no issue there. Yes color scheme is different then gopro. Its a 7 year old model when gopro hero 4 was launched. This has carl zeus lens and image stabilization

could be your suspension system wear as well. I am also of the opinion that every tyres gets hard after some time. so it's better to buy a cheap tire and change it twice in stead of buying an expensive tyre and using it for 20000 km. better to use inexpensive tyre for 15000 or 10000.
Your idea is also great. As we have less options in tires market and local tires are coming at par with the recent price hikes. The opportunity cost is less then 30%. But still it makes sense

Brother, I need to change my cb150 tires. Which one tire you would suggest in dual sport category or 70-on 30-off road tubeless tire.
I’m a new one and already broke my wrist due to front tire skid (cordial). Need to change.
Oh its sad to hear. Go for any tubeless tire in 3.00-18 size it will give you better grip then original cordial. Personally I will suggest for lotus or shinko these days
@@TamourTahir I watched your shinko tire video. I checked shinko tires online but found that there is no tubeless in relevant sizes.
Some variant are but usually in these small sizes they are tube tires.

Tamour can you recommend tyre for front wheel, I want to stick with stock size. As you mentioned the hardness within 10K kilometres of timsun. Is it possible to acquire Cordial stock ones. I am much satisfied with stock ones.
Right now used rear tyre for 30.5Km and replaced with Panther trekker. Very happy with my choice. Now I want to replace front one. I want a softer tyre at front for effective steering.
I am considered timsun ts_615 (80-100-18) that have regular tread pattern like cordial front one.
Any suggestion please.
One more thing I would like to mention is that I use my bike for daily commute so I envy to get optimal fuel milage and softer ride.
You can get cordial from Honda dealers. Or you can go with 3.00 18 trekker in front also. Front tire don't have much effect on fuel
💯 agreed using timsun in my ybr G and gs 150 in both bikes facing same isssue even the back tire of gs 150 blast 🔥 from the side wall now i recently put darson hulk tubeless the first experience is more awsome than my expectations
Darson is better in grip as compared to timsun ? I plan on changing my ybrg tyres. Please recommend. JazakAllah.

I have used Timsun tubeless in GD110s since 2018, now used upto 30K kms. Tyre beads are still in very good shape (should not be) which clearly indicates that it's got hard. Now looking to buy new one but tubeless tyre is really hard to find except Timsun at Faisalabad.
I can understand that tubeless tire is hard to find. You can contact different retailers of tires on Facebook. Search Iqbal tires from Karachi. He is a good guy will definitely help you

Salam, for 110 80 18 i think 36 should be enough or to get more comfort try 34. For 90 90 front 32 or 33. On which bike are you using this tire size

You can go higher but you will loose comfort. I have used Timsun in my bike and I am sharing my experience. It will be more hard then it is on higher psi

Well i am still using timsum and almost rode 34k km ..in this i did on road as well as off road of gorakh , moola , jarar shah sandy track , kumrat off road , mahodand lake off road , shandor pass off road track , kailash off road track over all in 34k km ride just 6 or 7 puncture in rear tire and no puncture still in front till yet ....
Ok nowadays i am facing skit issue while braking and may be my tire life now finished as i guess so thats why i am facing skit issue
One more thing both timsun of my bike tire is on road pattern ...

Brother for review I have to use it first. As I don't have a bike which support the tires you mentioned. However these sizes are not common in our market and will be with limited option. I would suggest go with the fresher tires in these sizes

I understand these are not widely used in Pakistan but I asked you because you have better expertise in this field than me. I am from Karachi or should I use kabli (imported) tyres?
Syed, you have to go for imported tire but dont buy any brand having manufacturing date before july of 2021.
As for the brands you have some options, Bridgestone, Shinko, Goldenboy, Timsun, Lotus. I am not sure that lotus have this size or not. There are couple of people at Radio Pakistan tire market. Iqbal tires, Barkat Tires, and Saud these people are reliable and do stand on their words
I got 51 km p/L average of my bike ybr this week.... My city ride has some 20 km highway and i ride between 80 to 100 sometimes higher..... I noticed last month that my rear tyre is loosing grip during brake..... Current service tube tyres have run 35000km. Its unbelievable.... Now i want tubeless...... So?
35000 😬 at the speeds you are mentioning you are already risking your life brother. It is a harsh reality that we spend thousands on cosmetics and we don't care about tires which are the most important part of any vehicles.
I tend to change my tires around 20 to 25 k km max.
For the average you have to stick with stock sizes that is 90 90 18. For tubeless you can check lotus and shinko(some models are available) other then these in local tires Diamond Titan and service drifter are also available in tubeless options

As per my experience I have used, Timsun, Shinko and currently lotus.
Best grip was from Shinko/Goldenboy but they have limited patterns and tube tires. Lotus is better then timsun. I am also hearing that Darson are good from market survey

I was about to buy timsun TS 620 2.75/18, TS 628 100/90/18 in my Yamaha ybr, but saw your video.
Please suggest tires for city rides in karachi.
I bought my bike in 2015 and still using stock tires, bike has done 15k kms.
If you want tubeless tires then you have options of lotus and DSI also. If you want to use tube tires then panther trekker is a good option.

Shahzad, main abhe tk personally 3 brands try kr chuka ho. Original cordial tires, Timsun aur ab shinko. Iskay elawa jin tires k baray main maloom hai woh bta daita ho. Local tires main number 1 is panther trekker. Number 2 diamond Titan (tubeless).
Tire asal main apkay intended use k hissab sy hota hai.

And i am confused about this desi method..... I have a city ride of 50 To 60 km daily.... And if u believe my current tyers of service run for 35000 km and now i felt that rear tyre is loosing grip on high speed while breaking.... So..... What to do?
Brother Service is making drifter tire and Diamond is making Titan these are not jugaar tires
Brother my policy regarding tires is very simple in car change after 40k km and in motorcycle between 20 to 25k km. This is safe. Secondly if your tire gets 3 punctures change them immediately

Which tire brand would you suggest after using Timsun. I am currently using Timsun in 3 different Bikes.
Is SHINKO better than Timsun?
I have seen many complaints regarding SHINKO tires. The sellers here say that they sell SHINKO USA tires but when you see the quality of those new tires, it completely contradicts with Seller's statement.
What about other brands like DSI etc?

I am using Shinko currently. My friend had one in his bike in 2018,before I bought my bike and I did a tour of ranikot on that tire. Yes shinko is better then timsun. DSI is also a good option. If you want to use Timsun you can but uptill 10k only. As personally i have used only cordial, timsun and shinko i can comment much better on these tires

For cracks . It is normal for deep grooves tyres. Kiun k tyre ka treads bike k hisaab se bht ziada move krty hain tu ye tiny cracks like design bn jaty hain. This is not dangrous.
No brother even deeper grove tires don't develop cracks if the carcass and thread are mated properly. Tire compound also plays a big role and what process is utilized to mold the tire. This is dangerous if the tire temperature gets high and the friction due to speed is much high. It happens all the time in truck tires where substandard tires are used and then you might have seen exploded tires on the roads
I hve seen these in Panther trekker. AND they Last 28000km without any problem. I used 2 trekkers tyres and one dimond tubless with same observations before switching to timsun.
For tires in sub 150kg weight motorcycles 25000 km is maximum mileage. Its a safety net. How much kilometers have you run these timsuns?
Right now front 5000km and rear 2000km done. Front is TS682 AMD rear is TS628. Specially thought in choosing these models for our Pakistani Roads.
