- This is my Honda PCX 150. A brief walkthrough of the scooter. I also show the minor performance upgrades I did. Just those 3 simple upgrades made my PCX faster off the line, higher top speed achieved at 72MPH, and it sounds louder, but it sounds great to me. It’s music to my ears. What does the inside of the fuel tank look like? Mine has 800 miles and the inside of tank is full of rust.

My 2018 low mileage Honda PCX 150 wont start , I warmed it up a few times during the winter its in my garage, lights turn on, but it makes this sound when I try to start it but wont start, any help please?
You may need a valve adjustment.
Make sure your battery is fully charged as well, but Honda suggests a valve adjustment early, like between 600-4k miles

I was going to tell you the power level in the battery may start the bike, but but amperage drains slowly over time.
Will this make a difference on the 125 model I only get 55mph real annoying
A better exhaust and mainly getting a high performance variator will get u a higher top speed
Can you kindley send me a link for the 2017 pcx 125 parts you recommend.. when I get to 60 mph sound like the engine is starving from fuel or air .. it use to get to about 65 mph and I was happy with that..
@@hassman2751 you need a new belt and you need to have the valve adjustment done and some servicing, and it will get you back up to stock top speed
I'm in uk and I got pcx 125 2019, top speed ive hit is 73 mph at will anytime I want full stock model

Is there a long break-in period?
UNFINISHED FOOTSTEPS no break in period, but I always like to baby new part in slowly no matter what.
Honda suggests 600 miles, no wide-open-throttle, then an oil change.
Then sometime before 4k miles, a valve adjustment.
After that, you can drive it wide open throttle and change your oil every 4k miles.

My 2019 is getting like 86 mpg with no mods
Yah, actually I’m getting around 80mpg. I was underestimating my MPGs. Sorry folks. It’s great with gas being $6 a gallon

Actually mine gets 100-110. Still to this day. When I made this video I didn’t care about MPG so I just guessed. It should get 90-100.
The 2018, 2019, and 2020 PCX have a digital display.
The 2017 had the analogue speedometer.
You sure that isn’t a 2016 or 2017…?
Also, the ‘18, ‘19, and ‘20 are stock governed at 71 (although some claim it can hit 73, but my fat arse won’t get past 70 lmao).
The 2018, ‘19, and ‘20 model also have an additional bit of metal trim that yours does not have; I’m confused - maybe this is a 2017 model that you bought in 2018?
It all depends on which Honda outlet or dealership you bought it from. Mine is a 2018, but I don’t like digital gauges, I’m more of an analog guy. Even where you insert your key, I requested and I took off any metal looking parts. They can dress up Hondas Scooters and make them look any year and even the new 2022. Again, it is a 2018. My state requires even lower than 73 ok anything 250cc down.

At the time of the video I wasn’t thinking of MPG, so I estimated. Looks like I underestimated way too much. It avgs today still at 140
60-65mpg??? At that point just get a burgman 400, 650, or even a Silverwing. Youll get a better bike with the same gas mileage....
You say a performance air filter gives better mpg lol rubbish , You have given it more air with the filter , more flow with the exhaust but no mention of something like a power commander to give more fuel that must be running far to lean you will probably burn a hole in the piston , and 65 mpg is terrible for that scooter it should do well over 100
There’s a governor that makes it max out @65. Required by State, CA has some of the strictest rules and regs. Actually it does do well over 100 mpg. I was just trying to estimate. Yes, I did say air filter would give better mpg. The more oxygen and the colder, the better it will flow. As for you mentions of the power commander and hole in a piston. Making changes to help flow with a 250pcx scooter here. It maxes out at 65-70 due to law. It doesn’t run lean, it’s still runs like brand new. Keeping up with maintenance like oil changes, the modifications I’ve done are for pushing this to the extreme, 24hrs straight, No maintenance, than eventually all bikes at 250cc will break something somewhere.
We are talking about a Honda PCX. Even at 250cc that would happen running lean. What did u do? Ask chatGPT! Lol
