I think this is the most beautiful and emotionally satisfying ending to any videogame I've ever played. *Period.* Just the fact that Yoshi, Luigi and Wario are there to join in the victory puts the DS version way ahead of the N64 version. Like, wow..... the more I think about it, I feel led to say that if videogame perfection exists, the ending of *Super Mario 64 DS* is it.
Anyone else noticed how the credits themselves and the visuals go so slowly with the DS's limitations that they had to extend the music, compared to that of Mario 64? Especially when you play the original Mario 64 anywhere other than an N64 console where it's meant to be played, with the credits being designed to go at that correct pace.
Story Time: When I was 6 or 7, I got this game. I used to love it and play it all the time. Keyword: USED to. A while later, I got an Action Replay for my Nintendo DSi. I cheated in the 120 stars from the main courses, but i still needed the 30 extra stars. Five years passed, and I pick the game up again, and just for fun, I loaded up my 140 star file. I had forgotten about my previous hacks, and was determined to get those last ten stars. Unfortunately, because of the way I unlocked the other characters, their hats wouldn't appear in some of the courses, namely: the courses that the ten last stars appeared in. Also unfortunately, the game also didn't hold up over time, and the bad physics combined with having to start the game all over again was almost too much for me to handle. But, after 7 years, and over 100 deaths, I finally accomplished it. I obtained all 150 stars and beat Bowser in the Sky World. And when I saw those credits roll, and the music kicked in, all those memories came flooding back, and i nearly teared up. After all of that frustration, those glitches, the ragequits, and all one hundred fifty stars, I can honestly, truly say, that, despite everything I joke about with my friends, I'm still glad I did it. It was completely worth my time to play.

Although he's one of my favorite Mario characters, Yoshi admittedly became pretty useless once you unlocked everybody else. The only other times you absolutely needed him were in Cool Cool Mountain and Snowman's Land.

I think I might have a Mandela effect, cuz I can swear when I first got this staff roll back when I was 9 and I hadn't completed the Snowman mission, he would appear on his sad form, without Body.

Ah this fills me with joy everytime I watch this :3 I love this game Anywho, I watched this because I need to get a better idea of what enemies work in Kuppa Script, since it's kind of frustrating when they don't show up, it appears to be quite a bit of them, actually, since the credits are a bunch of cutscenes, lol Also, I'd love to figure out how to get player characters to do that bye bye waving animation with Kuppa Script so that I can pull a loonytunes in some parts of the game where there is another character standing on air and Larry's like "Bye bye" and they're like "What are you talking abou-" and they look down and realize and they're like "Oh sh**" and fall
I got the all stars version of the original in Christmas of 2021 and it was such a surprises and it took so long to 100% it but I did it last Saturday and beat new super Mario U deluxe that Sunday and 100% it today and 100% Mario Wonder a few weeks ago what should I do next

I used to hack moon jumps in the game when I was 7 too
TysonMellow I tried to use moon jumps in the moat level as Wario, but every time I entered the level, the game crashed
